Miss Ada Evalyn Wheeler, age 92 of Wing, AR died Monday, March 27, 1995 at the Yell County Nursing Home in Ola. She was born in Wing, AR, October 5, 1902, daughter of the late William Monroe and Emily Sipes Wheeler. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Berniece Evelyn Wheeler, age 94, of Ola, AR died Friday, February 4, 2005 at Chambers Memorial Hospital. She was born October 31, 1910 in Norman, AR to the late Luke and Minnie Dew Dalton. She was a mother, homemaker, a member of the Ola First Baptist Church, past member of the Ola Housing Authority Board and worked for the Area Agency on Aging.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Wheeler, a son, Bill Wheeler; three brothers, Gerald, Curtis and Gene Dalton and two sisters, Berdie Mae Standifer and Faye McHugh.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and J.H. Hasty, Jr. of Ola, AR; two sisters and brother-in-law, Lonetta Smith, San Juan, TX and Wanda Bud King of Russellville, AR; seven grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was February 8, 2005 at the Ola First Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Reece and Rev. Rick Balentine officiating. Interment was in the Owley Cemetery between Mt. Mrs. Edie May Wheeler, 45, of Whittier, Calif., died January 15 of cerebral hemorrhage. She was born at Rover and attended school at Rover. She was married to Clell M. Wheeler in 1934. They have lived in Yell County except for four years spent in Whittier from 1942-46 and also the past eight months. She was a member of the Belleville Baptist Church.

Belleville Man Killed In Gun Accident In Oklahoma - John Henry Wheeler, 35, accidentally shot and killed himself at his home in Pitcher, Okla. Sunday,(1957) according to reports from the family. Wheeler was starting to go rabbit hunting about 10 a.m. when he placed his gun, stock down, on the floor and it discharged, hitting him in the face. He died at a hospital about three hours later.
Wheeler is survived by his wife, Donna, a son, John Richard and daughter, Linda Carol, all of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wheeler of Belleville: two sisters. William H. Wheeler, aged 67, a Belleville farmer, died Saturday in a Fort Smith hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Yell County and a Baptist.

Mrs. Martha Frances Whiley, age 88, of Plainview died Tuesday, February 23, 1982 at Yell County Hospital at Danville. She was the widow of Felix Whiley, daughter of the late Jim and Lizzie Sisco Blythe and was a member of Valley Home Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Wayne Whiley of Hollis, Roy Whiley of Hot Springs and Albert Whiley of Fort Smith; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Tyler of Orosi, Calif. and Mrs. Bertha Jones of Huntington Park, Calif. a sister, Mrs. Nancy Jones of Danville; 40 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Luther Whillock, age 66, of Dardanelle died Sunday, February 16, 1958, at the Russellville hospital following a long illness. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Dardanelle and was a state auditor, working with the state comptroller's office for the past 22 years.

Christine White, age 84, a resident of Ola, AR, died Saturday, October 25, 1997 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville, AR. She was born on April 11, 1913 at Tupelo, MS to Russell and Leoda Shumpert Price. She was the widow of the late John L. White. She was a retired Assistant Administrator with Yell County Nursing Home in Ola. She had worked as an elementary school teacher, and as a secretary for the Extension Service. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church at Plainview and a former member of First Baptist Church at Ola.
Survivors include a daughter, Martha Forrest of Plainview; two grandchildren, Randee Kay Forrest and Russell Forrest both of Plainview and one great-grandchild, Kortlin Nicole May of Plainview.
Graveside service was October 27 at Sandlin Cemetery in Ola followed by a memorial service at the First Baptist Church in Plainview officiated by Rev. Corine Cockburn White, 71, of Tulsa passed away Thursday, May 3, 2007 in a Tulsa, Oklahoma hospital. She was retired after 35 years from C.R. Anthony Department Stores, and 18 years at Wal-Mart.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Barbara White of Dardanelle; daughter, April White of Belleville; sister, Myra Price of Pottsville; and several other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Dora Lucy Peeler White, 82, a resident of Plainview died Thursday, June 9 in a hospital in Danville. She was the daughter of the late Lucy Vaughn and Daniel J. Peeler. She was one of the community Editors for the Yell County Record for many years.
She is survived by her husband, John Thomas White; one daughter, Mrs. Wesley Saunders of Dardanelle and one grandson. Rev.

She was born January 21, 1922 in Havana, AR, the daughter of the late Martin B. Foster, Sr. and Reola Q. Foster. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, whose love reflected in her devotion to her family and friends. She was of the Methodist faith.

She is preceded in death by her husband, five brothers, three sisters, and a daughter-in-law Lois White. She was a retired lunchroom cook of the Belleville & WYC School systems. A job she truly loved so she could be close to her children, grandchildren and all of the students she called her own.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Paul (Judy) of Sun City Arizona, Larry (Betty) of Danville, Edward (Betty) of Pleasanton, TX, Fred (Linda) of Havana, and Treva (Charles) Combs of Havana; sisters-in-law Kris Elmore and Elizabeth Elmore. She was blessed with 9 grandchildren all of whom she was so proud of. She was also blessed and cherished all of the time she got to spend with her 14 great-grandchildren. There are many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews, other extended family and friends left behind to cherish her memory. Mother, Mammy, Grandmother, or Granny never retired from always taking care of, worrying about, or loving all of her family and friends. Homer Jack White, aged 74, of Belleville died Friday. He was a retired banker and stockman. He served as Yell County judge for two terms during World War II. He had been a Master Mason of the Christian Lodge No. 394 and was a member of the Belleville Baptist Church.

Inamae White, age 74 of Rover, died Monday, March 14, 2005 at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. She was born in Montgomery County on April 7, 1930 to James Edward and Nora Lucy Ballard Bean. She was a mother and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, James Harold "Jay" White, daughters, Diana White and infant daughter, Evelyn Irene White; brothers, Elmer Bean and Rueben Conway and grandson, Matthew Henson.
Survivors include her husband, Harold O. White; son, Rodger White of Rover; daughters and sons-in-laws, Norma Jean and Wayne Steele of Casa; Theresa and Jerry Forrest of Benton; daughter-in-law, Connie Short White of Rover; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Lois Bean of Havana, ten grandchildren and thirteen grandchildren.

James Harold "Jay" White, age 47 of Rover, AR died Saturday, January 13, 2001 at his home in Rover. He was born March 6, 1953 in Hot Springs, AR. He was a maintenance sanitation manager for Wayne Farms in Danville, AR.
He was preceded in death by an infant sister and his grandparents.

Joyce White, age 71, of Scottsdale, AZ, died May 2, 2001. She was a travel agent and florist, the wife of Dean White, formerly of the Cedar Creek community near Havana, AR and the daughter-in-law of the late Lee and Verna White. She; was born November 7, 1929 in Green Forest, AR to the late O. E. and Edith Turner. After graduating from college, she moved to Wichita, KS and was a long time resident there with her husband. They ran several businesses in the shopping center "Happiness Plaza, in which they owned. She was an international traveler, lecturer, flower designer, commentator and flower judge. She was a member of the American Society of Travel Agents, American Academy of Florists, Professional Floral Commentators and a founding member of American Institute of Floral Design. She was a pioneer in flower photography, creating the first wedding design book and the original direct mail program for consumer and commercial flower mailing. Mrs. White and her husband moved to Scottsdale in 1986, and she continued to enjoy at busy life working, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors are her husband of 52 years, Dean; sons, Marc and Brad, both of Wichita, daughter, Michelle DeAngelis of Scottsdale; eight grandchildren and one sister, Bonnie Fechner of Wichita.

He was born February 15, 1918 at Quitman, TX to the late James Madison and Iva Francies Gilbreath White. He was a WWII veteran, 32 degree member of the Russellville Masonic Lodge and he was a deacon at the New Hope Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Irene Ruth Morgan White.

Mrs. Maude Reynolds White, 72, wife of H.J. (Jack) White of Belleville, died in the Yell County Hospital May 5. She was a lifelong resident of Yell County.
