Ola Man Dead Chas. Lee Tippin, 50, partner in the Tippin and Sons Store, Ola whose body was found in the Keelan Creek, back of his home, Sunday morning had just returned from Hot Springs, where he had been taking the baths. Mr. Tippin who lived alone in the old family home, stopped at his brothers home next door and was urged to stay, but went to his own home. Sunday when he failed to appear for breakfast and his car was in the accustomed place, his brother, Lawrence, aided by officers and others made a search to see if he had been seen. The search ended when the body was found in the creek. Yell County Sheriff Buford Compton's office said they found bruises around Mr. Tippin's eyes, but they were not such as to make it conclusive that Mr. Tippin had suffered foul play. An autopsy was held at Russellville under the direction of Dr. R. L. Smith and when the examiners found no trace of water in his lungs his stomach was sent to a laboratory for examination.
The funeral was Monday afternoon in the Methodist Church, of which he was a member, he was also a Mason. Mr.
