Robin Gale Tatum, age 49, of Belleville passed away Monday, August 20, 2012. She was born December 24, 1962 in Tulsa, OK to the late Millard "Al" & Billie Jo Reed Tatum. She was a nurses Aid at Chambers Memorial Hospital and a E.M.S. dispatcher in Danville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; twin brother Bobby Tatum and brother Donny Tatum.
Survivors include sons, Dustin Tatum of Belleville and Josh Whitworth of No. Dakota; grandchild, Eli Whitworth of Ola; sisters, Debbie Catlett of Belleville, Jeannie & Mike Purcell and Teressa & Kenneth Purcell all of Eastanollee, GA; brother, Steve Tatum of Denver, CO; and numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncle and cousins.
Memorial graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 24, 2012 at Havana Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 22, at the funeral home. William "Bill" Tatum, age 62 of Dardanelle, AR died Sunday, February 27, 2000. He was born July 21, 1937 in Russellville, AR to the late Buford L. and Novella Walker Tatum. He recently retired after 35 years as office manager for the Arkansas Employment Security Division. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Dardanelle.
Survivors include, wife, Georgiana Burnett Tatum; children, William W. "Butch" Tatum, Jr. Dardanelle, AR, George and Cassandra Nichols, Jonesboro and two grandchildren, Cori and Will Nichols; two brothers, B. L. "Red" Tatum and Tom Tatum both of Danville, AR and a sister, Catherine Naples, North Little Rock, AR.
Memorial service was February 29, 2000 at the First Methodist Church with Rev. Floyd Ervin officiating. William L. (Uncle Bill) Tatum, 69 years old, former sheriff of Yell County and a leader in civic affairs here for many years died at the home of his son, Buford Tatum here Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. He suffered a stroke of apoplexy Thursday afternoon. Mr. Tatum served four years as sheriff and for several years as deputy sheriff of this county. He was a member of the Methodist church and of the Masonic lodge.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. at Briggsville.
Survivors include four sons, Buford Tatum, former circuit clerk of Yell County; Lee Tatum, Danville; Marvin and Carl Tatum, both of Newelton, La.; one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Pate, Atlanta, Ga.; one sister, Mrs. Mary Lou Cubb, Corpus Christi; Texas; two brothers, D.J. Mrs. Imogene Chappel Taurte, formerly of Danville, passed away while on the operating table in Aubuckle, Calif. February 3, 1948, at her age of 18 years and five months and was laid to rest at that place February 5 with a great host of her many friends attending the service. Mrs. Ada Alma Taylor, age 69, died Tuesday in her home in Chickalah. A lifelong resident of Chickalah, she was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Henry J. Taylor and four daughters, Mrs. Etta Slatten, Dardanelle, Rt 2, Mrs. Arledia Smith, McCrory, Mrs. Sylvia Bates, Dardanelle, Route 3, and Mrs. Vorena Waid, Dardanelle, Route 2; three sons, Floyd and Bob Taylor, Little Rock, and J. Artense Taylor, age 85, of Dardanelle, AR, widow of the late Marion Taylor, died Sunday, March 4, 2001 at the Dardanelle Hospital. She was born May 22, 1915 in Dardanelle, AR to the late Aaron and Jimmie Perry Dickens. She was a caretaker of the elderly, a homemaker and mother and a member of the Sweet Home Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a son, Stanley Taylor; three brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include one son, Richard Taylor of Dardanelle, AR; three daughters, Betty Wells of Kansas City, KS, Bonnie Perkins of San Diego, CA and Eula Reed of Dardanelle, AR; one sister, Gladys Richardson of Dardanelle, AR; 12 grandchildren, four step grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and seven step great-grandchildren.
Services will be today, Wednesday, March 7, 2001 at 2 PM at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle, AR with Bro. Charles Wells officiating. Brandy Deann Mooney Taylor of Sheridan was born on August 2, 1976 in Pine Bluff, the daughter of Kenneth and Brenda Wiggins Mooney. She died on December 10, 2004 from injuries in an auto accident near Sheridan at the age of 28. She was a housewife and mother and of the Pentecostal faith. She lived in the Yell County area with her parents and worked at Anthonys and JC Penny in Russellville.
Survivors include her husband, Brent Taylor of the home; a step-son, Nathan Cole Taylor of Sheridan; a stepdaughter, Emily Nicole Taylor of Sheridan; her parents, Kenneth Mooney of Sheridan and Brenda and Larry Lawrence of Sheridan formerly of Ola; her grandparents; Raymond and Sallie Harp Wiggins of Sheridan.
In addition, also injured in the accident was her son, Dilan Chandler Taylor who was born on October 15, 1997, the son of Brent Taylor and the late Brandy Mooney Taylor. He died on December 10, 2004 at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock at the age of 7 years. He was a first grade student at Poyen Elementary School.
He is preceded in death with his mother.
He is survived by his father; paternal grandparents, Carroll and GenNell Lunsford Taylor of Grapevine; maternal grandparents, Kenneth Mooney, Brenda and Larry Lawrence all of Sheridan; maternal great-grandparents, Raymond and Sallie Harp Wiggins of Sheridan; a step-brother, Nathan Cole Taylor and a stepsister, Emily Nicole Taylor.
Funeral services were held on December 13, 2004 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with the Rev. Wendall Magar and the Rev. Steve Cypert officiating. Burial was held in Hedden Chapel Cemetery near Grapevine. Pallbearers were Matt Cotton, Brandon Cotton, Harold t. Cotton, Kevin Bryant, Mike Roberts, Danny Cotton and Mike Freeman. Curtis "Opey" Taylor, age 6 of Havana, died Friday, at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock.
He is survived by his parents, Perry Taylor of Searcy, AR and Dana Taylor of Havana, AR; sister, Peyton Taylor, Havana; half brothers, Jessie Lynn Taylor and William Perry and Crystal Taylor, Searcy; Grandparents, Melba Taylor, Searcy, Gary and Jaquita Greenfield, Havana; Great Grandparents, Curtis and June McClellan, Hattiefield, Jewell Overton, Lonoke; several Uncles, Aunts and Cousins.
He was preceded in death by a favorite uncle, Bobby Cooper.

Mrs. Dennie Taylor, age 75, passed away at the home of her son, Pete Taylor, in Harkeys Valley, Tuesday afternoon, after a long illness. Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Baptist church, and had lived in Yell County all her life.
Survivors, other than her son, are three sisters, Mrs. N. B. Rutledge, of Banch; Mrs. G. C. Palmer, Italy, Texas; Mrs. W. R. Tucker, Dardanelle Route 2; three brothers, H. C. Harkey and Wilson Harkey, Weber Falls, Okla.; and J. P. Harkey, Dardanelle. Also surviving are four grandchildren.

Donald Edward Taylor, age 69 of Perryville, died Saturday, January 8, 2005 at the Veterans Regional Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born on January 3, 1936 in Sumner, Iowa to Allen and Agnes Genevieve Destival Taylor. He served two tours in Vietnam, earning the National Defense Medal, Bronze Star and Rifle Meret Awards. He was a 32 degree Mason, member of the Veterans of Foreign War, the Perryville First United Methodist Church and the UMM Breakfast Group.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Spinks Taylor; two daughters, Angela Paulus and Doreen Gillen and seven grandchildren. Memorial service with Masonic Rites was held on Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at the Perryville First United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ernest, Jeff and Rube; four sisters, Carrie Ilee, Lizzie and Pearl.

She was born October 11, 1938 at Morrilton to Hugh Bradford and Audrey Earl Moore Wear. She was an Air Force Veteran and a Registered Nurse where she worked at Sparks Medical Center for many years.
She is preceded in death by her father, Hugh Bradford Wear and her husband, Sam Taylor.

James "JT" Taylor, 82, of Dardanelle, died Saturday, January 14, 2006 at Dardanelle Nursing Center. Born December 17, 1923 in Chickalah, he was the son of the late Henry and Ada Green Taylor and was a retired school bus driver for the Dardanelle School District and a farmer. He was an army veteran and a member of the Chickalah Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Ward Taylor; son, Thomas Taylor; brothers, Floyd Taylor, Boyd Taylor; sisters, Arlevia Smith, Sylvia Bates and Etta Slatten.
Survivors include a son, Sammy Taylor of Dardanelle; two daughters, Martha Owens and Colleen Lievsay both of Dardanelle; a sister, Etta Vorene Waid of Dardanelle; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

John William Taylor, age 79, died at a hospital in Holdenville, Okla., July 22, 1954. Mr. Taylor, the son of Thomas W. and Frances Kennington Taylor was born in Scott County and came to Yell County with his parents where he lived until 1916. He then moved to Holdenville, where he has lived since. He was a member of the Baptist church.
The funeral services were conducted in the Baptist church at Holdenville, with burial in Holdenville cemetery.
He is survived by his widow, the former Jennie James, one son, W. H. Taylor, of Texas, one daughter, Mrs. Clares Wildey, of Holdenville, one brother, H. J. Leonard Taylor, 60, of Ft. Smith was killed Tuesday in a one-car accident near Booneville. He was a former Yell County resident. The mishap occurred about 1:40 p.m. on Highway 10 one mile west of Booneville, according to State Police Sgt. Ralph Blythe, who investigated. Sgt. Blythe quoted a witness, H. B. Duboyce of Hackett, as saying the car swerved across the road as it approached Greasy Creek Bridge. The car hit the west end of the north side of the bridge. Taylor, who was alone in the car, was pronounced dead on arrival at a Booneville hospital.

Lorraine Rose Taylor, age 75, of Belleville, AR, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 1997 at St. Edwards Hospital in Fort Smith, AR. She was born in Appleton, Wisconsin December 20, 1921, daughter of the late Michael and Minnie Derga.
She was the widow of Edward Richard Taylor and preceded in death by a son, Edward Taylor.

Lucille Taylor, age 87, of Havana, AR died Friday, July 26, 2003 at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith, AR. She was born April 9, 1916 in the Bower Community, OK to the late Burl and Annie Bratton. She was a homemaker and mother and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Porum, OK.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Taylor, granddaughter, Jenifer Karnes, brother, Floyd Bratton, four sisters, Jessie Smith, Dillie Shellings, Callie Riddle and Elsie Bratton.

Olney Taylor, 70, a resident of Loving, New Mex. for the past 17 years, died September 25th in a Carlsbad hospital. He was born in Bluffton and was a member of the Loving Baptist Church and of the Bluffton Lodge 123, F&AM.
