Robinson, Rena Sue

Rena Sue Robinson, age 71 of Havana, found eternal rest, Saturday, March 25, 2006 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville. Born August 7, 1934 in Chickalah to the late Walter and Ruth Morgan Yarbrough, she was a retired beautician. She was a member of title Havana Assembly of God Church and shared a ministry with her husband of 55 years at Moores Chapel in Church in Waveland, where she used her talents of singing and playing the guitar in doing Gods work. She spent most of her life in Barstow, California where she and her husband had a radio ministry "Beams of Hope" for over twenty years.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Sammy Yarbrough.

Survivors are her husband, James Robinson; a son, Myron Robinson of Ontario, CA; a daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Dan Turner of Barstow, CA; a granddaughter and husband; two great grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Morgan and Pat Yarbrough of Atwater, CA, Bill and Erma Yarbrough of Sumerall, MS; a sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Gene Huffman of Willows, CA; host of nephews, nieces, cousins and brothers and sisters in the Lord.

Services will be Wednesday, 10 a. m. at the Havana Assembly of God Church with Rev. Gene Huffman officiating. Burial will be in Moore s Chapel Cemetery by Cornwell Funeral Home, Danville. Pallbearers will be Tommy Fink, Bruce Mitchell, Whick Stapleton, Nick Taylor, Lester Upchurch, and Harlon Patton. Robinson, Reverend James Perry

Reverend James Perry Robinson, 78, of Havana, AR, entered into eternal rest on September 12, 2007 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville. Born July 16, 1929 in Belleville, James was the son of Leonard and Euna Stafford Robinson. In 1950 he married Rena Sue Yarbrough and later served this country during the Korean Conflict. For more than 50 years, James and his wife spread the gospel in countless churches throughout California and Arkansas. During forty plus years in California, they formed the Pioneer Gospel Singers and released an album entitled "Hell Calm the Troubled Waters." James and Rena Sue also wrote, produced and performed on the Beams of Hope radio program that aired every Sunday morning for over 13 years.

James was preceded in death by his parents, his loving and devoted wife, Rena Sue, and a brother, Carrol of Washington.

James is survived by a son, Myron Gary Robinson of Ontario, CA; a daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Dan Turner of Barstow, CA; granddaughter and husband, Amy and Kevin Manness of Las Vegas, NV; two great-grandsons, Matthew and Morgan Manness also of Las Vegas, NV; sisters, Oleta Hale of Little Rock, AR, Donna Butler of Greenwood, DE; brothers Calvin and Bobbie Robinson of Springfield, VA, and Don and Jackie Robinson of Omaha, NE.

Funeral services were held Monday, September 17, 2007, at the Havana Assembly of God Church with burial at Moore's Chapel Cemetery in Waveland under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Booneville. Robinson, Rick

Rick Robison, age 61, of Casa died Thursday, September 21, 2017 at his home. He was born September 27, 1955, at Bryant's Cove to the late Aline G. Nail Robison. One could not hear the name, Rickey Wayne Robison, without thinking of a talented mechanic, great gardener, jack of all trades, great white hunter, lawn mowing, 4-wheeler riding, junk food eating, t.v. watching, king of napping and the most caring, loving husband, daddy and papaw in the entire world.

He leaves behind big shoes to fill and huge holes in the hearts of his Bren, wife of 43 years; his baby boy, Rusty; his monkey- tail, Sunni Gayle; two granddaughters, his pride and joy, Alexis and Abbe Gayle; honorary grandson Trey and the golden child - Sissy, the Cat. Daddy loved the Lord and would want you all to as well. He is in Heaven with him now. He's visiting with his momma, uncle Sonny, Buddy Bobby, among many others and is at peace. He had always been more of a one-on-one kind of conversation guy but now I'm sure he's in a crowd of others talkin it up.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, September 25, 2017 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Bro. Kirk McConnell and Bro. Lavan Robinson officiating. Visitation was held Monday, 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the chapel prior to the service. Rickey Eugene Robinson, age 44, of Ola, AR died Tuesday at his home. He was born October 10, 1957 in Ventura, CA, the son of the late William Eugene and Zadie Joyce Davidson Robinson.

Survivors include, a son, Caleb Robinson of Conway; three daughters, Misty Ichtertz, Haley and Tabitha Robinson all of Sheridan; two brothers and sister-in-law, Randy and Sharon Robinson of Plainview, AR and Dale Robinson of Ola; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Merlene and Stan Faucett of Camden, Ginger Bill Bull of Dardanelle, AR; Kathy Sales of Plainview and Sandra and Mark Weatherford of Pine Bluff and many nieces and nephews.

Robinson, Ruby Ellen

Ruby Ellen Robinson, age 80, of Dardanelle died Sunday, August 19, 2007 at Dardanelle Nursing Center. She was born February 15, 1927 at Casa to the late Ora and Ethel Pearson Hubbard. She was a member of the Ola First Freewill Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dale Robinson; a daughter, Betty Tucker; brother, Carl Hubbard; and sisters, Reba Douglas and Burna Dean Hubbard.

Survivors include a son-in-law, Truman Tucker Jr. of Dardanelle; granddaughters and spouse, Tammy and Joe Peak III of Atkins, Tracie Tucker of Dardanelle; sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Chester Kiersey; sister-in-law, Vida Robinson of Dardanelle; three great-granddaughters, Katie, Kallie and Kelsey Peak of Atkins; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Mrs. Ruth Merritt Robinson, age 71, a resident of near Casa died March 29 at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ocie McDonough near Dardanelle. She was a native of near Casa and a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Walter Robinson; one son, Velmar (Bud) Robinson of Wabbaseka; five daughters, Mrs. McDonough, Mrs. Julia Chapnel, Mrs. Inice Robinson, Mrs. Mamie McDonough, of Altheimer, Mrs. Levellon Mabry of Conway; three brothers, Lee Merritt of Casa, Leonard Merritt of Stockton, Calif. Mrs. Ruth Farnam Robinson, age 82, of Dardanelle, AR died Thursday, August 13, 1998 at St. Edward's Mercy Medical Center in Ft. Smith, AR. She was born May 8, 1916 in Delaware to the late T. A. and Mary Johnson Farnam. She was a member of the New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church, VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 31412 in Dardanelle and was retired from Morton's Frozen Foods and the Sr. Companion Program.

She was preceded in death by a son, J. T. "Teter" Robinson; two daughters, Patsy Robinson and Betty Robinson; a brother, Orval Farnam and a sister, Vestal Vassaur.

She is survived by Clyde Robinson of Delaware; two sons and daughter-in-law, Carlton and Elwanda Robinson and Gilbert Robinson all of Delaware; two daughters and son-in-law, Margaret and Joe Via and Shirley Whittington all of Dardanelle, AR; a brother, Calvin Farnam of Delaware; four sisters, Gracie Harrison of Little Rock, AR, Marie Raney and Irene Nelson both of Corona, CA and Wanda Saunders of Florida; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nephews, nieces and a host of friends.

Sandra Robinson, age 57, a resident of Lamar, AR died Monday, February 21, 2000 at Baptist Medical Center at Little Rock, AR. She was born on September 16, 1942 at Knoxville, AR to John and Margaret Higgs McCarley. She married Shelby Robinson on May 30, 1963 at Lamar, AR. She was a cattle and turkey farmer and a member of the Lamar Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by, her father, grandparents, Will and Ossie McCarley, Zena and Agnes Higgs and father-in-law, Opal Robinson.

Survivors are, her husband, Shelby Robinson of Lamar; a son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Jaleen Robinson of Lamar, AR; a daughter, Shelly Robinson of Topeka, KS; three grandchildren, Brittney, Shelby Lynne and Caleb Robinson all or Lamar, AR; three sisters, Barbara Watson, Gail Nichols and Elaine Leeds all of Lamar, AR; four brothers, Billy, Randy, Rickey and Michael McCarley all of Lamar, AR; her mother, Margaret McCarley of Lamar, AR; her mother-in-law, Vida Robinson of Russellville, AR; 17 nieces, 17 nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Robinson, Thomas Dillard (Dr.)

Dr. Thomas Dillard Robinson, aged 43, of Atkins, a physician and surgeon, died June 21. Dr. Robinson graduated from Ola High School and the University of Arkansas School of Medicine in 1957. He served his internship at St Vincent Infirmary at Little Rock. He practiced for two years at North Little Rock before moving to Atkins in 1960. He was a veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dortha Shelton Robinson; two sons, Jeff and Pat Robinson of Atkins; one daughter, Julia Mae Robinson of Atkins; one brother, C.J. Robinson of Conway; one sister, Mrs. H.C. Cobb of Oklahoma.

Robinson, Toney

Toney Robinson, was born in Gravelly, Arkansas on February 11th, 1919 to his parents Laura Elizabeth and Frank Robinson. He came to be with his Savior on Sunday, February 19th, 2012 in Scottsdale, Arizona. When he was a young man, he joined the navy and it was decided that he could best help in the war effort by aiding in the production of food and serving as a cowboy on a ranch in Oklahoma. After this, he moved to Albuquerque New Mexico, where he learned his trade, glazing. He then moved to Tucson, Arizona where he opened a shop called American Paint & Glass. It was there that he met the love of his life, Shirley, and he also fell in love with Arizona, because of its great opportunities for hunting and enjoying the outdoors. He eventually moved into the Phoenix area and opened a Glass Shop in Scottsdale, named Acme Scottsdale Glass.

Along with his wife of 55 years, Shirley, he is survived by his 3 sons, Toney Jr, Kevin, and Keith and his 3 daughters Barbara, Donna, and Michelle. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren, along with another one on the way. Ed Robison, age 77, of Ozark, AR, formerly of Danville, AR, died Friday, January 19, 2007 at Ozark. He was born March 16, 1929 in Talihina, OK to the late Hobert and Linda Cherry Robison. He was involved with the timber industry until his retirement.

Edward E. "Gene" Robison age 89 of Danville passed away Friday, May 2, 2014 at Chambers Memorial Hospital. He was born February 14, 1925 in Danville, Arkansas to the late Hobert & Linda Cherry Robison. He was retired from Wayne Farms and attended the Centerville Assembly of God Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Dorothy Robison; brothers, Ernest, J.L. and Ed Robison.

Jessie Lee Robison, age 71, of Lone Pine Community died Thursday, December 31, 1998 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville, AR. He was born January 15, 1927 in the Lone Pine Community to the late Holbert and Linda Cherry Robison. He was a logger.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jack Robison, a daughter, Nancy McCurry and two brothers, Jack and Earnest Robison.

Mary Robison was born on September the 18th, 1917, in Blueball, Arkansas to parents Robert & Myrtle McCubbin. She passed away Saturday the 24th of October, 2015, in Modesto [California]. She was married to the love of her life, Bill Robison for twenty-seven years until his passing.

Mary is preceded in death by her daughter Doris Clemmons, along with sisters Eloise Garner, and lna Hunt. Mary is remembered through her children, Vinita Spears of Arkansas, Roscoe Scarbrough, Robert Scarbrough and Rebecca Silva all of Modesto, John Woodard of Ceres, and Bill Woodard of Turlock. She is also remembered by her siblings Willie McCubbin of Texas and Louise Scarbrough of South Carolina. She is loved by twenty four grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren. Mary was a feisty lady who never met a stranger. She loved Jesus and going to church. She enjoyed quilting and word search puzzles.

Ray R. Robison, age 76 of Casa, died Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at Chambers Memorial Hospital. Mr. Robison was born November 21, 1929 at Cardon Bottom to the late Claude and Essie Barkwell Robison. He was a 32 Degree Mason, Casa Lodge 537, a member of the Free Will Baptist Church, Ola Eastern Star 247 and Shriners.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Charles (Chub Robison; brothers, O'Neal and Sonny Robison; and a sister, Faye Robison.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Aline Nail Robison of Casa; son, Rickey Robison of Casa; daughters, Beverly Moore of Casa, Peggy Bellinger Speer of Perryville; brother, Don Robison of Casa; sister Doris Wagnor of Casa; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; many nephews, nieces and a host of lifelong friends.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at Fitch Cemetery in Casa with Rev. Denver Robison and Bro. Bobby Alexander officiating. BELLEVILLE Vernon Robison, age 44, of Belleville died Monday, October 14, 1985, at St. Edward's Hospital at Fort Smith. He was the son of the late James Harvey and Claudia Chapel Robison.

Survivors include three sons, Vernon Ray Robison of Centerville, and Jessie Wayne and Jerry Don Robison of the home; two daughters, Patricia Ann and Sandra Marie Robison of the home; two brothers, James Leroy Robison of Belleville and Paul Robison of Paris, and three sisters, Lola Corley of Havana, Nora Bell Chronister of Danville and Ruby Callahan of Paris.

Mr. Willard "Bill" Robison, age 68, of Dardanelle, AR died Tuesday, January 6, 1998 at Little Rock, He was the son of the late William E. and Ellen Parker Robison. He was a retired mill worker and a member of the First Pentecostal Church of God in Dardanelle.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Robison of the home; two sons, Willard Robison, Jr. of Morgan City, LA and Robert Robison of Missouri; four step-sons, Roscoe and Robert Scarbrough of Modesto, CA, John Woodard of Ceres, CA and Bill Woodard of Salida, CA; three step-daughters, Doris Clemmons and Vinita Spears of Dardanelle and Rebecca Silva of Modesto, CA; two brothers, Burl E. Robison of Bell Gardens, CA and Eugene L. Robison of San Antonio, TX; 24 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Evelyn Williams and Zella Robison and one brother, Thomas F. Robison.

Services were held January 8, 1998 at the First Pentecostal Church of God in Dardanelle with the Rev. Charles Bradley officiating. Burial was in the Brearley Cemetery at Dardanelle. Robnett, William "Bill"

William "Bill" Robnett, age 74, of Thornburg died Saturday, May 17, 2008 at St. Anthony's Hospital in Morrilton. Born May 10, 1934 in Kusa, Oklahoma, he was the son of the late Joe Robnett and Mildred Bowedler Lively. He was a foreman for the Rock Island Railroad.

He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, Otis Lively; sister, Catherine Kline; mother of his daughter, Lyn Robnett.

She is survived by her daughter, Marsha Grant and husband Bud of Benton; her son Bob Rochelle and his wife Teresa, of Plainview, Arkansas; her grandson B. J. Buddy Darrell Rodgers, age 81, of Russellville died Monday, March 7, 2016, at Conway Regional Medical Center. He was born April 28, 1934, at Birta to the late Ira Edwin and Mary Ann George Rodgers. He attended the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Birta. Buddy was a salesman for AutoZone for over 30 years and was a United States Army Veteran during the Vietnam War where he was an airplane mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carol Ann Rodgers; mother of his children, Iris Gale Bly Williams; one son, Gregory Rodgers; one brother, Carroll Rodgers and one sister, Juenell Newhart.

Survivors include three children, Stephanie Rodgers Barnett of Russellville, Stacey Rodgers of London, England, Eric Rodgers of Russellville; three stepchildren, Sheila Welling, Tonia Stephens, Tara Hartwick; one daughter-in-law, Anita Rodgers of Hot Springs; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Titsworth; Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Buddy Rodgers; daughter, Shelia Welling of Russellville; Tonia Kitchens and husband, Steven of Russellville, and Tara Hartwick and husband, Tony of Greenbrier; two step-children, Stephanie Barnett of Russellville and Stacey Rodgers of London, England; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; sister, Susie of Benton; and numerous extended family.

Memorial service was held at 2 PM, Monday, March 10, 2014 at Birta Cemetery in Birta. Visitation was from 6-8 on Sunday at the funeral home.
