Clyde Robinson, age 89 of Delaware, AR died Saturday, November 22, 2003 at Dardanelle Rehab Center. He was born December 13, 1913 at Delaware, AR to the late J. C. and Viola Whitecotton Robinson. He was affiliated with the Delaware Free Will Baptist Church. He was a retired saw mill worker, farmer and a former employee for Janet Davis Kitchens.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Robinson; a son, J. T. "Teeter" Robinson, two daughters, Patsy and Betty Robinson; four brothers, Orren, J. P. John and George Robinson and one sister, Ruby Hickerson.
Survivors include, two sons and daughter-in-law, Carlton Elwanda Robinson of Paris, AR and Gib Robinson of Delaware, AR; two daughters and son-in-law, Margaret "Sissy" and Joe Via and Shirley Whittington all of Dardanelle; two sisters, Velma Green of Dardanelle and Addie Parks of Prairie View, AR; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was November 25, 2003 at the Delaware Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Wylie Jones and Rev. Mike Chisum officiating. Burial was in Graves Cemetery, Delaware, AR. Daisy Mae Robinson, age 75, of Greenwood died Saturday, July I, 2017, at her family cabin in Greenwood, Arkansas. She was born January 19, 1942, at Ranger, Arkansas to the late Malcolm Oswell and Rose Effie Gamer Keener. She was a Realtor for Rockwood Sales Corp for over 40 years. Daisy loved to travel, going to BINGO, occasional trips to the casino, playing cards with ladies at the Senior Center, shopping with Johnna and her grandkids, she enjoyed traveling with ATU Group and with family. She even went bear hunting with Kyle and caribou hunting with Lance before her retirement and she also collected depression glass.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray Lee Robinson; one sister, Freeda Hancock and one brother, Donald Keener.
Survivors include her son, Lance Barton and wife Jonna of Greenwood; one daughter, Johnna Wedge of Dardanelle; stepsons, Robby Robinson and wife Treissa of Dardanelle, Richard Robinson of New Orleans, LA; three brothers, Gil Keener of Muskogee, OK, John Keener and wife Carol of Spring, TX, Jim Keener and wife Peggy of Ormond Beach, FL; five grandchildren, Kyle Barton and wife Alyssia of Mtn. Home, AR, Andrea Wedge of Dardanelle, Katelyn Barton, Ashlyn Barton and Brooklyn Barton all of Greenwood, Arkansas.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July 8, 2017, at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Bro. Carl Fair officiating. Burial was at Earl Ladd Cemetery. Visitation was held Saturday, 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the chapel prior to the service. Pallbearers were: David Sheets, Mackey Keener, Gil Keener, Jr., Lance Adams, Jeff Chandler, Chris Merritt. Dale J. Robinson, age 78, of Dardanelle, AR died Friday, November 7, 2003 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville, AR. He was born in Casa, AR June 20th, 1925, son of the late William A. and Sophia Jane Hamilton Robinson. He was a farmer and a truck driver and an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Opal Robinson and four sisters, Flossie Massie, Mittie Cody, Celesta Cody and Ethel Myers.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruby Hubbard Robinson; a daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Truman Tucker of Dardanelle; two granddaughters and son-in-law, Tammy and Joe Peak III of Atkins and Tracie Tucker of Dardanelle, AR; a sister-in-law Vida Robinson of Tulsa, OK; two great granddaughters, Katie and Kallie Peak of Atkins and a step great granddaughter, Kelsey Peak of Atkins and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was November 9, 2003 at the Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Rev. Bobby Wells and Rev. Joseph Hubbard officiating. Dorothy Marie Robinson, 80 of Birta, passed away Friday, May 30, 2014 at St. Vincent's Infirmary in Little Rock. She was born April 6, 1934 in Bigelow, Arkansas to the late John Alec and Mary Patton. She was a retired cook for Ola School District and a member of the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 5 brothers; and two sisters.

Mr. Eddy Robinson, age 85 of Greenwood, AR died Monday, May 5, 1997 at Pink Bud Nursing Home in Greenwood. He was a farmer and a WWII Army Veteran.

Elton Levi Robinson, age 96, of McAlester, died Tuesday, October 10, 2000 at McAlester Regional Health Center. He was born August 13, 1904 in Gravelly, AR. He was the son of Jerome Franklin and Laura Elizabeth Gray Robinson. He married Bonnie Poindexter in 1925 in Bluffton, AR, she preceded him in death in 1972. He lived most of his adult life in McAlester. He owned Robinson Paint Store until the mid 1960's when Urban Renewal bought the building in order to widen Main Street. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, where he had served as a Deacon, Sunday School Superintendent and a Sunday School teacher.
Survivors include, two sons and daughters-in-law, Wallace and Mildred Robinson, Tucson, AZ and Bert and Donna Robinson of McAlester; three daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Leon Carroll of Benbrook, TX, Fredonia and Jack Vogle of McAlester and Yvonne and Billy Workman of Gravelly, AR; grandchildren, Linda Walls, Shirlon Martin, Rondia Chapman, Bruce Deerinwater, Kathy Ligthte, Ricky Workman, Annette Dunham, Robin Spears and Mike Workman; a brother and sister-in- law, Toney and Shirley Robinson of Prescott, AZ and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Ernest O. Robinson, 34 of Centerville, fell dead in a field where he had been working last Friday afternoon. Oren Cain, a neighbor who had been with Robison missed him and returned to find him dead. Robinson had been suffering from a serious heart ailment for several years.

Injuries Fatal To Birta Man - J. A. Robinson, who would have become postmaster of Birta Monday, died in a Morrilton Hospital Sunday of injuries suffered near Gleason Friday. Robinson was crushed between two railroad cars while working at a cement plant. Witnesses said two tractors were being used to move the cars which were on a siding near the plant, and Robinson apparently misjudged the distance between the cars. He was born September 5, 1919 in the Rose Creek Community, Perry County, Arkansas to the late Hues and Minnie Robinson. He retired as a road construction supervisor for the Ben Hogan Construction Company and was a member of the Baptist Church.

James Arch "Jim" Robinson, age 81, of Birta passed away Tuesday January 3, 2017, at Mitchell's Nursing Home. He was born April 3, 1935, in Birta, Arkansas to the late John Arch & Inez Oma Hambright Robinson. Jim was a plumbing inspector for the State of Arkansas. He was a member of the Plumber Steamfitters Local Union 155.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Marie Robinson; parents; brothers, John Paul, Norman, and Joe T. Robinson.

Two Fishermen Missing At Dardanelle Rescue workers dragged the Arkansas River near Dardanelle from early Sunday morning until Wednesday morning in a search for Jack Hodges, age 32, and John Robinson, age 30 both of Dardanelle. Sheriff Herman McCormick said a 17 foot rise in the river forced a discontinuation of dragging operations Wednesday afternoon to aid in the search for the bodies. The two men have been missing since Saturday afternoon when they went fishing on the river. The boat was found floating upside down by fisherman at about 4 p. m. Saturday. Joy Robinson, 33, died recently at a local hospital. She was born in Albany; she moved to Abilene from Arkansas in 1978. She had worked at Concepts of Care as an aide for two years and at Wyatt's Cafeteria for six years. She was a member of Lytle South Baptist Church.

Mrs. Lois Robinson, age 88, of Dardanelle, AR died Friday, June 30, 2000 at the Dardanelle Hospital. She was born December 18, 1911 in Conway County, AR to the late Johnny and Martha Oma Hamilton Williams. She was a member of the Welcome Home Missionary Baptist Church at Rose Creek.
She was preceded in death by her, husband, Lish W. Robinson and a sister, Essie Holmes.

Nina J. Robinson, age 73, of Plainview, AR died Tuesday, September 15, 1998 at her home. She was born August 14, 1925 at Plainview to James W. and Millie Hall Ellis. She was a retired quality control inspector for Valmac Industries and a member of the Baptist Church.

Ray Lee Robinson, 82, of Dardanelle passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017 at his home. He was born in Delaware, Arkansas, January 7, 1935, son of the late Orren and Ima Jean Robinson of Dardanelle. Ray Lee was a businessman who came from a meager background and with great instincts and vision, started his life in the construction and excavation business. He got his early education running equipment working summers in his early teens at the Clearwater-Potlatch Timber Association near Headquarters, Idaho. He later ventured into Asphalt work and ownership in a Ready-Mix Company along with a Sand and Gravel Facility that he and his oldest son Robby operated. The company known as Ray Lee Robinson Construction Company had a resume of excavation projects extending to ANO and most of the earlier subdivisions in Russellville. Ray Lee owned apartments throughout the River Valley. He at one time had an interest in a Nursing Home and other local business ventures in Russellville and Dardanelle. In 1982 the construction business became known as Robinson, Inc., owned by his son Robby and wife Treissa. He remained by their side as the excavation and Sand and Gravel Business grew. The company worked statewide on projects and in early 2000 opened an office in Conway. At one time the Company employed about 50 people, they did the excavation work on most all the freezer facilities in Russellville. Did some street improvement projects for the City of Russellville and still do commercial and residential work. He was still working with Robinson, Inc. when he passed. He was happiest with his friends and family around. He loved watching his beloved Razorbacks on TV, and enjoyed Thoroughbred Horseracing, however, his true love was the construction work which he involved himself in daily.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Daisy Mae Robinson. Two sons, Richard Lee Robinson of New Orleans, LA., and Robby Ray Robinson of Dardanelle. His daughter in law, Treissa Robinson. Two step children, Johnna Barton Wedge of Dardanelle and Dr. Lance Barton and his wife, Johnna Barton, both of Greenwood, Arkansas. Several grandchildren and step grandchildren, Sarah Robinson Standridge of Dardanelle, Raeden Robinson Tanner and Jessica Robinson of Russellville and Courtney Robinson Kinder of San Luis Obispo, California. Great grandchildren are Peyton and Luke Lasher of Pottsville and Jasper Robinson Tanner of Russellville and Nathan Robinson Chavis of Russellville. Step grandchildren are Andrea Wedge of Dardanelle, Kyle Barton and wife Alyssia of Memphis, TN, Katelyn Barton, Ashlyn Barton and Brooklyn Barton, all of Greenwood, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Rev. Tim Brimm and Bro. Randy Findley officiating. Burial will be in Graves Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, 12:30 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the chapel prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Micky Harris, Jack Hammock, Verlon Farris, Rodney Collins, Butch Duvall, Mark Wachtendorf. Honorary Pallbearers will be The Employees of Cole Construction.
