Reddin and Bessie Briley Reddin. He is a retired from Arkansas Power and Light Co. having worked for AP&L for 35 years. Jack E. Redfern, age 59, of Little Rock, AR died Monday, December 18, 2000 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. He was born July 11, 1941 in Norfolk, VA to the late Edward D. and Mary Francis Redfern. He was the Staff Manager of Regulatory Affairs for Alltel Communications in Little Rock, AR. He served as Alderman for the City of Danville from 1971 to 1973 and as Mayor from 1972 to 1974. He was a past president of the Danville Lions Club, the Danville Jaycees and the past treasurer of the Danville United Methodist Church. He was a member and past president of the Board of Directors of the Arkansas Telecommunication Association (ATA). He was a current member of the Executive Committee and a Chairman of the ATA Legislative Committee. He was appointed by Governor Huckabee to the Arkansas Deaf and Hearing Impaired Telecommunications Service Board of Directors where he served as Vice-president. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Little Rock.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Anna Virginia Redfern and a niece, Mary Elizabeth May nor.

James Leroy Redwine- After a lingering illness, James Leroy Redwine passed away at his home in St. Joseph, La. on February 2, 1954. He was an "outdoor" person and his interests included hunting, fishing, bee-keeping and gardening. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Rubin Reed; children, Bunny Reed Woods of Monteagle, TN, Jim Reed, Perryville, AR and Mike Reed, Bluffton, AR; five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; one brother, C. T. Wood, Fresno, CA; four sisters, Lorene Clayton, Dumas, AR, Inez Storment and Berline Patton both of Bluffton, AR and Christean Hunnicutt or Russellville, AR; two beloved daughters-in-law, Judy Reed and Becky Reed and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be conducted, today, Wednesday, November 7, 2001 at 2:00 PM at Plainview First Baptist Church with Rev. David Rumsey officiating assisted by Gary Woods, son-in-law. Burial will be at the Bluffton Cemetery. Her nephews will serve as pallbearers. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the Plainview First Baptist Church building fund. Michael Kenneth Reed, age 51 of Dardanelle, died October 27, 2009 at his home. He was born October 12, 1958 at Crawfordsville, Indiana to Robert Gene and Loretta Gean Crumley Reed.
Survivors include wife, Garth Ann Reed of Dardanelle; one son, Jeremy Reed of Dardanelle; four brothers and sister-in-law, Robert Gene Reed Jr. and wife Linda of Artesia, NM; Danny Reed and Howard Reed, both of Dardanelle; and Matthew Reed of Booneville; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Randy Lynn Reed, age 19, of Rover, AR died early last week. He was born in Russellville, AR October 25, 1979. He was a 1997 graduate of Plainview High School and had been employed by Deltic Timber of Ola.
He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Robert Andrews.
Survivors include his mother, Debbie Talley of Scott, AR; his father and step-mother, Billy Wayne and Patricia Reed of Rover, AR; a sister, Rebecca Rameriz of Russellville, AR; a brother, Rickey Lee Reed of Rover, AR; his grandparents, Coy and Ethel Reed and Darlas Andrews all of Rover, AR, Les and Betty Talley of Dardanelle and Winona Talley of Harkey's Valley, AR; two nephews, one niece and several other relatives.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 22, 1999 at 10:00 a. m. at the Rover Baptist Church with Rev. Elvin McDill and Rev. James McElroy officiating. Mr. Roy Wayne (Red) Reed, age 87, of McCrory, AR died January 19, 1998 at the Central Arkansas Hospital in Searcy. He was a retired show inspector for the Addison Shoe Company in Wynne and was a Baptist. He resided in Northwest Arkansas for a number of years before moving to Wynne in 1952. He has resided in the Pumpkin Bend Community near McCrory for the past 25 years.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys Reed; five sons, Larry Hoffman of Calico Rock, AR, Bill Hoffman of McCrory, Coy Reed f Rover, AR, Wayne Reed of Morrison, OK and Delford (Del) Reed of Winslow, AR; two daughters, Billie Jo Tatum of Havana, AR and Mary Ann Reed Wiggins of Nashville, TN; two brothers, Lester and Albert Reed both of Mishawaka, IN; one sister, Evelyn Terry of Sheridan, AR; 22 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was January 21 at the Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in McCrory with Rev. Mike Fisher, Pastor of Morton Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in Pumpkin Bend Cemetery near McCrory. Pallbearers were Johnny Browning, Michael Browning, Vernon Hoffman, Jimmy Mayo, Eldon Waddell and Philip Wiggins.
