Ellen Eliza Nelson, age 91, of Rover, AR died Friday, February 25, 2011, at Mitchell's Nursing Home in Danville. Born August 31, 1919, in Emmet, AR, she was the daughter of the late Burton and Blanche Norton Jones. She was a registered nurse. She was a Christian and attended the United Methodist Church and served as an Army Nurse during World War II.

R. Jack Nelson, age 60, of Pine Bluff, died Friday at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was born in Havana, the son of John Fair and Glidden Hollingsworth Nelson. He was raised in Danville and attended Arkansas Tech University, the University of Central Arkansas and graduate school at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He lived in Fort Smith, Fort Worth, Texas, Dardanelle and Greenville, Miss. before moving to Pine Bluff. He was a complex manager for Valmac Industries for 20 years. Most recently he was general manager for S. A. J. Inc. distributors. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and served on the boards of Methodist Churches in several cities. He was a Rotarian and had served as president of the Rotary Club and Chamber of Commerce at Dardanelle. In Mississippi, he was appointed to the Small Business Administration advisory board.

Annie Grace Neuhart, age 86 died Monday, May 19, 2003 in Fort Smith. She was a member of the Plainview United Methodist Church, a resident of Methodist Village in Fort Smith. Annie Grace was also a retired home economics teacher. She was a member of the Ola Pioneer Study Club, the Yell County Retired Teachers Association. She served with the American Red Cross in the European and Pacific Theaters in World War II. After WWII, she worked with the Red Cross on the reconstruction of Japan.

Cleo Neuhart, age 98, of Plainview, AR, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 06, 2013 in the Yell County Nursing Home. Cleo was born May 12th, 1915, in Steve, AR Yell County to the late Charles and Hattie Cockman Neuhart.
His wife Annie Grace Evans Neuhart, and his brothers, Cecil and Hartsell Neuhart preceded him in death. Other than a brief move to Charleston, AR, Cleo was a lifelong resident of Yell County. He was one of the first entrepreneurs in the area of Plainview/South Fourche. Cleo founded Arkansas King Poultry Company, and was a board member at the Plainview First State Bank. He was also, a farmer and retail property owner in Plainview. Mr. Neuhart was a member of the Plainview United Methodist Church and was a Mason. Cleo was wed to the late Annie Grace Evans in 1950 for 52 years. His sons, Paul & wife Cindy Neuhart of Atlanta, GA and Larry Neuhart of Fort Smith survive him, as well as Phillip & wife Kathryn Neuhart of New York City, NY and Mackenzie Neuhart of Atlanta, his grandchildren. Cleo (Punkin) will be remembered for his kindness and generosity to his family, to his church, and to the community during his 98 years. His sense of humor, in good times and in bad, was inspirational to everyone. He will be in our hearts forever. A Celebration of Cleo's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 9, 2013 at the Plainview United Methodist Church with Rev. Floyd Ray officiating.

While surrounded by family, Cynthia A. Neuhart of Duluth, GA, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 19, 2014.
She is survived by her daughter, MacKenzie M. Neuhart; husband, Paul E. Neuhart; mother, Dorothy P. Earle; sister, Melanie J. Earle; stepson, Phillip E. Neuhart and wife Kathryn; and brother-in-law, Larry E. Neuhart. Cindy was born on July 25, 1963 in Melbourne, FL to the late Claude E. Earle and Dorothy P. Earle. The family relocated to Salisbury, NC in 1973, where she graduated from East Rowan Senior High School in 1982. She subsequently attended Pfeiffer University and Catawba College. In her early career, she was a member of Elizabeth Dole's staff in Washington, DC. In the year 2000, Cindy and Paul were married and started their life together in Hickory, NC. She and Paul relocated to Atlanta in 2002 where they have made their home for the past twelve years. With the birth of her daughter, MacKenzie in 2004, Cindy lived completely for MacKenzie's wellbeing and future. The world was a better place with Cindy in it. She was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. Her strength and courage were biblically driven, and her determination was resolute. Cindy's time with us was shortened by cancer, but her life will endure through eternity.
