Mcknight, Marie Gist

Mrs. Marie Gist McKnight, age 82, of Russellville, AR, widow of Olen McKnight, died Friday, December 12, 1997 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born May 27, 1915 in Casa, AR to the late Wiley and Frances Minge Gist. She was a homemaker and mother and a member of the Apostolic Church in Atkins, AR.

Survivors include five sons, Joe McKnight of Dewpo, IL; Richard McKnight of Burbon, MO, Danny McKnight of Oppelo, AR, Elbert McKnight of Benton, AR and Leon McKnight of Mt. George, AR; six daughters, Edith Kennedy of Dixon, MO, Mary Lois Scudder of St. Louis, MO, Ruby Frost of Mt. George, AR, Linda Pearl Cooker and Shirley Hodges both of Russellville, AR; two brothers, Harvey Gist of Centerville, AR and Elmer Gist of Mt. George; a sister, Fay Hightower of Little Rock, AR; 29 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.

Service was December 15, 1997 at the Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with the Rev. W. R. James officiating. Interment was in the Petillo Hill Cemetery by Cornwell Funeral Home of Dardanelle. Mrs. Viola Lee McKnight, 81, of Belleville, died Wednesday in her home. She was a native of Missouri and the widow of Rev. B. A. McKnight. She was a Methodist.

Mclain, Gary Dale

Gary Dale McLain, age 58 of Lake Dallas, TX, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2000 at his home in Lake Dallas, TX. He was born in Amarillo, TX, September 17, 1941, son of the late Edwin and Madge Johnston McLain. He was a 1960 graduate of Dardanelle High School and retired from the Texas Education Service Center in Dallas, TX.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Gene McLain.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Rook McLain; a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Mae and Jon Dominque of Austin, TX and a sister. Juanita Johnson of Dallas, TX.

Funeral service will be held today, Wednesday, August 12, 2000 at 10:00 a. m. at the Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel in Dardanelle with Rv. Milton Cowling officiating. Kyle David "K-Mac" McLaughlin, age 18, of Havana passed away Sunday, August 24, 2014. He was born January 11, 1996 in Russellville, AR to David McLaughlin and Toni Thompson. He was a member of the Havana Assembly of God Church. He was a Western Yell County Student. Preceded in death by his grandparents Pam & Kenny Cotner; great-grandparents Goldia Phelps and Kermit Adair.

Survivors include his parent, Grandma B. David John McLeron, age 84, of Danville went to be with his Lord Sunday June 25, 2017, at his home. He was born September 17, 1932, in Buffalo Valley, Oklahoma to the late Emory & Belle Collins McLeron. He was a member of the Havana First Baptist Church. He was an Army Korean Veteran, and a manager for Wayne Farms.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Mclntrye, Danny Lynn

Danny Lynn Mclntrye, age 53, of Little Texas (Scott County) died Friday, December 2, 2005, at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville. He was born January 4, 1952 in Gravelly, Arkansas. He was a plumber and an amateur radio operator.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ardith and Annie Utley Mclntrye; brother, Tony Carter and a sister, Tomlin Hayes.

Mrs. Gene Huffman McManus, age 56, of Dardanelle died Saturday, December 28, 2002, at her home. She was born April 1, 1946, in El Dorado, Arkansas. She was a mother, homemaker, an animal lover, and a member of the Dardanelle Freewill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, David Huffman and a sister, Anna Faye Beggs.

Mrs. Fannie McMillan, age 79, widow of Mark McMillan, died December 24 at a Vallejo, Calif, hospital. She was a native of Rover, a daughter of John and Cindy Rice. She was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors are six sons, John and Fred McMillan, of Dardanelle, George McMillan, of Patterson, Calif., Edd McMillan, of Sacramento, Calif, Charlie McMillan, of Denver, Colo., and Doc McMillan of California; three daughters, Mrs. Herbert Cauna, of Vallejo, Mrs. Rather Lewis, of Sacramento, and Mrs. Olive Shade of Redwood City, Calif.; one brother, Porter Rice, of Ola; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Burnett, of Oklahoma City; 24 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Cleo Hooten McNabb, age 91, of Dardanelle, AR died Sunday, January 26, 1997. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dardanelle and Mesa, AZ and was a member of the United Methodist Women, a past Matron of the Eastern Star, a member of the Daughters of the Nile and the White Shrine of Jerusalem. She was a licensed practical nurse on Luke Air Force Base. She was born January 29, 1905 in Palmer, Missouri to the late Richard Wilkerson and Blanche Cole.

She was preceded in death by husbands, George Hooten and Paul McNabb.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Maurine Hooten of Muleshoe, TX; three daughters and sons-in-law, Juanita & Mac Barefoot of Mesa, AZ, Geneva & Bud Davis of Dardanelle, AR and Nina Ruth & Jubby Dobbins of Mountain View, AR; two brothers, Hadley Cole of CA and Clement Cole of Scottsdale, AZ; one sister, Ruth Sachs of San Leandro, CA; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and three nieces.

Funeral service was January 29 at the First United Methodist Church in Dardanelle by the Rev. Bennie Harmon. Interment followed in the Brearley Cemtery. Helen McNeely, age 83, a resident of Morrilton, AR died Tuesday, April 7, 1998 at her home. She was born on June 1, 1914 at Afton, NY, to Charles and Ethel Warner) Clock. She was a retired cook. She had lived at Waveland for 50 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Havana. She was me widow of the late H. R. McNeely.

She is survived by a son, Troy Christian of Booneville; a daughter, Vivian Bryant of Perry, AR; six grandchildren, Johnny Carter, Terry Bernard, Todd Christian, Scott Christian, Michael Jackson and Marlea Jackson; nine great grandchildren and nine brothers and sisters.

Mcneely, Herbert R.

Herbert R. McNeely, son of Edgar Thedore and Syrena Hooper McNeely was born in Spencer County, Indiana, August 17, 1895. Mr. McNeely departed this life at the Sparks Memorial Hospital in Ft. Smith on April 30, 1948, being 52 years of age.

He leaves to morn his passing his wife, two small children at home with five daughters and one son married; also three brothers and 18 grandchildren. Mr. McNeely was a member of the I. O. O. F. and the Modern Woodmen and a faithful servant of the community in which he lived.

Carl Michael McNeese, Sr. age 49, of Russellville, AR died Thursday, September 7, 2000. He was born in Ola, AR January 23, 1951 to William and Lucy Lorene Mayhane McNeese. He married Lois Osburn on May 3, 1968. He was a logger and a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and one sister.

He is survived by, his wife, Lois McNeese of the home; six sons and daughter-in-law, James and Angie McNeese of Russellville, AR, Michael Lee, Carl Jr. Jessie, John and Cole McNeese of Russellville; three daughters and sons-in-law, Lois Travis Kimbriel of Clarksville, Tina and Michael May of Dardanelle and Carla and Josh Van Hunnick of Russellville; six grandchildren, Ashley and Mackenzie Kimbriel, Zachary and MaKayla Van Hunnick, Brittany and Rocky May; nine brothers, James, Robert, Leroy, Paul, Damon, Gerald, Patrick, Stephen and Timothy McNeese; one sister, Mary McGuiggan and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jerry L. "Jerl" McNeese, 61, of Dardanelle died Tuesday, December 27, 2005, in Little Rock. He was born May 28, 1944, in Atkins, Arkansas. He was a line stacker in the lumber industry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lucy Lorene Mahan McNeese; two brothers, Carl McNeese and William McNeese; two sisters, Betty Jean McNeese and Violet McNeese.

Survivors include his brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Becky McNeese, Leroy McNeese, Robert McNeese all of Hot Springs, Paul McNeese, Damon McNeese both of Ola, Timmy and Ann McNeese of Hot Springs, Steven and Kay McNeese of Lonoke, Patrick and Elizabeth McNeese of Atkins; sister, Mary McGiggan of Austin, TX. In 1978 he resided with the Billy and Treva Tilmon Family, and since 1988 he has resided with Connie and Billy Tilmon.

Mcnutt, Robert L., Sr.

Robert L. McNutt Sr., 87, of Russellville, died Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Atkins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Atkins. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh McNutt, he was born March 24, 1923 in Russellville. He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran of World War II. His accomplishments included service to his country in Guadalcanal in the Pacific during World War II as a communications officer. He was self-employed in the communications industry. He was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed gardening and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Williamson McNutt; his parents and a daughter, Jan N. Hill.

He is survived by his son Robert & wife Teresa McNutt of Hollywood, FL; five grandchildren, Keith & wife Chandra McNutt of Pottsville, Heather & husband Sherman Goates of Dover, Scott Hill of Russellville, seven great-grandchildren, Jessica McNutt, Morgan Goates, Hayley Goates, Paxton Goates, Kendall Goates, Jordan McNutt, Sera Hill; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

McReynolds, Bobby Charles

Bobby Charles McReynolds, age 73, of Ola went to be with the Lord Saturday, February 11, 2012. He was born April 7, 1938 in Pine Valley, Oklahoma to Arthur Lee and Mary Myrtle Knight McReynolds. He served many roles in his life that included a maintenance man at Wayne Farms for 31 years, boiler operator, journeyman roofer, service station manager, and loved to peddle produce. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing softball, watching sports, and being with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Mary Ellen and Amy Jo, and a brother, Hubert Lee.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, June George McReynolds; a daughter, Cindy Raney of Ola; a granddaughter, Carrie Roberts of Ola; a grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Brian and Tasha Raney of Conway; two great-grandchildren, Whitley and Tyler Raney, also of Conway; one brother, Bill McReynolds of Lewiston, Idaho; one sister, Jean Means of Russellville; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

McVay, Patsy (Gillespie)

Patsy McVay, 79, of Russellville, died Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. She was born April 28, 1935, in Carden Bottoms, to Herschel and Winnie Cooper Gillespie. She was a member of the Arkansas Public Health Association, an avid bowler, and loved to travel.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles McVay; a brother, John Gillespie; and a granddaughter, Savannah Pledger.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah Pledger and husband, Craig of Bella Vista and Vickie Bench and husband, Tony of Conway; a brother, Ronnie Gillespie and wife, Carolyn of Pine Bluff; two sisters-in-law, Phyllis McVay of Benton and Betty Gillespie of England; three grandchildren, Dani Perez and husband, Daniel and Marissa and Bladen Pledger; a host of nieces and nephews; and her two dogs, Sadie and Gracie.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, May 24, 2014, at the Shinn Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Stacy Lisenby.
