Daniel Lee Fisher born on February 9, 1993, in Danville, Arkansas to Billy Wayne & Tammie Denise Miller Fisher. In the early morning hours of July 16, 2016, Daniel walked into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the age of 23. He was a 2011 Danville High School graduate. Daniel worked in construction as a brick mason. He could accomplish anything he set his mind to do. He worked hard and loved even harder giving all of himself in life. Daniel touched so many lives in his short 23 years.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Alma Fisher; grandfathers, Wesley Ruben Miller; Paul Curtis; uncles, Johnny Miller; Darrel Evans; cousin, Sean Wesley Miller.

Rev. Dick B. Fisher, 85, passed away November 25, 2007 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He pastored Plainview Baptist Church, Soldier Creek Baptist Church, Agnew Avenue Baptist Church, Liberty Baptist Church, in the Oklahoma City area & First Baptist Church of Welston. He assisted World Evangelist Billy Graham in several revivals that drew crowds of over 50,000. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Army Air Corp.
He is survived by his daughter, Rachel Kneeland & husband Rick; son, Mark Fisher & wife Valerie; four grandchildren, Brandon Kneeland, Brandon, Ryan, and Brianna Fisher; and one sister, Betty Roe and husband, Ervin.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Evelyn Fisher, and brothers, Keith Fisher of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Robert Fisher of Clarksville. He was the uncle of David and Mary Fisher of Danville.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 a. m. Wednesday. November 28, 2007, at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel with interment at Sunny Lane Cemetery where he received full military honors. Mrs. Ethel Fisher, age 78 of Plainview, died February 26 at the Yell County Hospital. The wife of the late R. H. Fisher, she was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church, a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Nancy E. Merriot Luker.
She is survived by two sons, Harold Fisher of Dardanelle and Paul Fisher; two daughters, Mrs. Jane Eden of Plainview and Mrs. Jean Chism of Ola; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday at the New Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Hulon Wiser officiating. Interment was in the New Bethel Cemetery. Harold C. Bud Fisher, age 61, of Dardanelle died Saturday, June 11, 1988 at the Veterans Regional Medical Center. Mr. Fisher was employed by the Dardanelle School System as Bus Mechanic for the past seven years, he had also worked for the Douglas Aircraft Corporation in Long Beach, CA. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict and a member of the Dardanelle Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife Opal Fisher of Dardanelle, three sons, Donnir Fisher of Riverside, CA, Ronnie Fisher of Odessa, TX and Richard Fisher of Diamond Bar, CA, on daughter Deborah Jo Fisher of Diamond Bar, CA, one step-son, Ken Alexander of Dardanelle, AR, one step-daughter, Carol Jean Dopeland of Little Rock, AR, one brother, Paul Fisher of Benton, AR, two sisters, Jane Eden of Plainview, AR, Jean Chism of Ola, AR, there are twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p. m. Wednesday, June 15, 1968 at the Dardanelle Church of Christ by Jack Lawyer. Burial will be in the New Bethel Cemetery near Plainview. Herbert Nelson Fisher, age 92, of Dumas, AR departed this life November 24, 2006 in Dumas. He was born January 25, 1914 in Yell County, AR to the late Joe and Jennie Brogan Fisher. He was a member of Anderson Chapel Baptist Church and a farmer.
He is survived by a son, Darrell Fisher of Dumas; three daughters, Inez Merrell and Norma Rankin both of Dumas and Brenda Waymack of Hot Springs, AR; one brother, Sam Koser of Arizona; one sister Ruby Ashley of Dermott, AR; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Joan Watt Fisher, 78, of Danville, died on Friday, October 23, 1998 at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock, Ar. Mrs. Fisher was born May 13, 1920, at Mangum, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Wilbur and Irene Watt of Dardanelle. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bill, publisher of the Stroud American in Stroud, Oklahoma. She was a longtime managing editor and news writer for the Yell County Record in Danville. She served as Construction News magazine editor for the State of Oklahoma for several years. For me past 23 years, until her retirement 4 1/2 years ago, at the age of 74, she continued her news writing role for her son, David Fisher, publisher of the Yell County Record. Mrs. Fisher received a two-year college degree at Oklahoma State University (formerly Oklahoma A&M). She was one of the organizers and members of the Danville Chamber Of Commerce in the late 1940's; a member of the Danville B&PW, a Cub Scout Den Leader, a member of the Arkansas Press Association and Arkansas Press Women's Association. Mrs. Fisher was a member of the Danville First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, David and Mary Fisher of Danville; Bobby Fisher of Piano, Tx.; two grandsons, Davy and Jennifer Fisher of Fayetteville; Chris Fisher of Russellville; two granddaughters, Tamara Morris of Russellville and Steve and Teresa Ausborn of Austin, Tx.

Opal Alexander Fisher, age 89, of Dardanelle, AR died Friday, January 9, 2004 in Dardanelle, AR. She was born April 9, 1914 in Garden Bottoms, AR to the late William E. and Johnnie Maxey Moore. She was retired from. Arkansas Valley Industry and was a member of the Dardanelle Church of Christ.

Paul Vernon Fisher, age 56 of Benton, AR died Monday, January 16, 1989, He was a salesman for the Arkansas State Police magazine, a Baptist and an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired member of Labor Local 1282 and a disabled American Veteran and the son of the late Dick and Ethel Luker Fisher of Plainview.
Survivors include his wife, Loyce Marie Fisher; a stepson, David A. Gattis of Benton; a step-daughter, Sharon Gattis of Little Rock; two sisters, Jean Chism of Ola and Jane Eden of Plainview and five step grandchildren.

Richard Harry (Dick) Fisher, age 82, of Plainview, died Tuesday morning, July 23, at the new Baptist Hospital in Little Rock. Mr. Fisher was a native of Van Buren. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Allen Fisher, and was a retired heavy equipment operator.

Robert O. (Bobby) Fisher, son of the late Robert L. (Bob) and Joan Watt Fisher, was born in Stillwater, OK, April 7, 1940. He died at his home in Richardson, Texas on June 20, 2007. Robert, graduate of Danville High School, attended Arkansas Tech University two years, received an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering, and earned a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics and a Masters Degree in Computer Science at the University of Arkansas. After graduation, Robert worked on his Doctorate of Computer Science at Ohio State University in Columbus, OH, at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbaria, IL and continued at the University of Texas in Dallas, TX. He was employed by Texas Instruments in Dallas, TX for approximately 30 years. He was the leading Technical Manager in centralizing Texas Instruments Main Frame Computers Worldwide. Robert spent his last years at home working with computers. Robert earned the rank of Eagle Scout with Danville Scout Troop 70 attending Philmont Scout High Adventure Camp in New Mexico. He was active in several high school clubs and attended First Baptist Church in Danville. His favorite hobby was fishing. While he was in senior high and at Arkansas Tech, he worked at both the Yell County Record and the Dardanelle Post Dispatch for his parents, who owned both newspapers at that time.
Survivors include one son, Chris Fisher of Russellville; two daughters, Tamara Morris of Steamboat Springs, CO and Teresa Ausborn of Russellville; one brother and sister-in-law, David and Mary Fisher of Danville; his step-mother, Christene Fisher of Clarksville; and two granddaughters, Alexandra Ausborn and Katherine Ausborn of Russellville, and one nephew, Davy and Shara Fisher of Bentonville.

Mrs. Elsie Fitch, 89, who has been making her home in Danville with her son, Idus Archer, died June 21, 1954. She moved to Arkansas from Alabama at the age of five. She was married to Milt Archer at an early age. Mr. Archer passed away in 1912 and in 1914 she was married to G. W Fitch, who preceded her in death in 1944.

Robert Earl Fitzgerald, 21, in the U. S. Navy, was killed in a car accident in Sonoma, Calif., on September 24. He was visiting his sister, Mrs. Boyce Bush while on leave from Treasure Island, San Francisco.

Mrs. Gloria Ann Fitzsimmons, 81, of Wann, died at 2:10 P.M. on Wednesday May 13, 2015 in Tulsa.
Graveside Services will be held for Mrs. Fitzsimmons at 1:00 P.M. on Monday May 18, 2015 at the Robbins Cemetery, near Coffeyville, Kansas, with Rev. Willard Lyons officiating. Interment will be in the Robbins Cemetery under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory. Mrs. Fitzsimmons was born June 6, 1933 at Little Texas, Arkansas, to William Oscar and Frankie Bernice (Cornelius) Goodson. She was raised and received her early education at Gravelly, Arkansas, graduating from High School at Fourche Valley High School, at Briggsville, Arkansas in 1952. She was married to Marvin Floyd Fitzsimmons on April 17, 1954 at Claremore, Oklahoma. They made their home in Tulsa for a short time and then later settled in the Wann, Oklahoma area in 1967, to pursue farming and ranching, which they did for over forty years. She enjoyed her gardening, cooking and baking for her family. She was very proud of her grandchildren and enjoyed cooking and baking for them. Mrs.

Mrs. Gloria Ann Fitzsimmons, 81, of Wann, died at 2:10 P.M. on Wednesday May 13, 2015 in Tulsa.
Graveside Services will be held for Mrs. Fitzsimmons at 1:00 P.M. on Monday May 18, 2015 at the Robbins Cemetery, near Coffeyville, Kansas, with Rev. Willard Lyons officiating. Interment will be in the Robbins Cemetery under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory. Mrs. Fitzsimmons was born June 6, 1933 at Little Texas, Arkansas, to William Oscar and Frankie Bernice (Cornelius) Goodson. She was raised and received her early education at Gravelly, Arkansas, graduating from High School at Fourche Valley High School, at Briggsville, Arkansas in 1952. She was married to Marvin Floyd Fitzsimmons on April 17, 1954 at Claremore, Oklahoma. They made their home in Tulsa for a short time and then later settled in the Wann, Oklahoma area in 1967, to pursue farming and ranching, which they did for over forty years. She enjoyed her gardening, cooking and baking for her family. She was very proud of her grandchildren and enjoyed cooking and baking for them. Mrs.

Billy D. Flannery, age 70 of Russellville, died Sunday, December 16, 2007 at his home. He was born June 27, 1937 in Pope County to the late Robert and Lottie Renfro Flanery. He owned and operated Billy's Furniture Refinishing in Russellville for 55 years.

Mrs. Ellie Brothers Fleming, aged 59, of near Havana, wife of Silas Fleming died July 18 at the Yell County Hospital. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
