Mickey Leo Austin, age 52 of Bluffton, AR, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Baptist Medical Center. He was born February 11, 1958 in Plainview, AR to the late Chester Lee and Frankie Mae Groves Austin. He was a member of the Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Tressa Fitch Austin; daughters, Erika Austin of Bluffton, Heather Austin of Hot Springs; brothers, Leon Austin of Harvey, David Austin of Waldron, Roy Lee Austin of Nola, Jimmy Dale Austin of Gravelly, Eddy Austin of Gravelly, Chester Lee Austin, Jr. of Harvey; sisters, Faye McConnell of Harvey, Shirley Maxey of Nola; many nieces and nephews.

Robert Wayne Autrey, age 30, of Danville, AR died Sunday, June 9, 2002 at the University of Arkansas Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. He was born in Ventura, CA on December 28, 1971. He was a 1990 graduate of Western Yell Co. High School.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Earl Stickler.

Mr. Frankie Lee Autry, age 50, of Stockton, CA died October 13, 2001 at his residence in Stockton. He was born December 12, 1950 in Modesto, CA and has lived in Stockton since 1971. He attended Stanislaus Union, Sylvan Union and Hart-Ransom Schools, all of Modesto, and Delta College in Stockton. He was disabled.
He is survived by his father, Oliver J. Autry of Modesto, CA; his mother and step father, Mary L. (McConnell) and James C. Bowden. Sr. of Modesto, CA; two brothers, Sammy Gene Autry and James C. Bowden, Jr. both of Modesto and two sisters, Betty Lou Cordero of Modesto, CA and Susan Ann LeBlanc of Chandler, AZ.

Syble Maybell Rainey (Standridge) Autry, age 85 of Hudson, FL, died Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at Windsor Woods Nursing Home. She was born February 20, 1919 at Rose Creek, Casa, to the late Carol and Lillian Archer Rainey. She was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Boyd Standridge; second husband, William O. Autry; sons, Larry Standridge, Leon Standridge; brothers, Jessie Rainey, Theo Rainey; sisters, Mamie Clark, Reba Heim, Ruby Eubanks, Girtha Barnett, Clara Barnett.

Bobby Lee Avery, age 80, of Dardanelle died Monday, November 18, 2013 at Legacy Lodge Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born September 20, 1933 at Orlando, MS to the late Rev. Ernest B. and Arcena Young Avery.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Randall Avery.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Betty Avery of Dardanelle; two daughters, Patricia Avery of Dardanelle, Betty Anne Ford and husband Mitchell of Jacksonville. Dessie Mae Avery, age 80 of Belleville, died Sunday, July 27, 2008 at Chambers Memorial Hospital. She was born December 18, 1927 in Little Texas, Arkansas to the late Roma and Agnes Beasley Humphreys. She was a line worker for Wayne Farms and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Avery; brothers, Robert, James, George, and Owen Humphreys; sisters, Susie Harvey, Lucy and Onia Humphreys.

Edward Veo Avery, age 68, of Sallisaw, OK died Friday, January 15, 1999 at his home. He was born May 8, 1930 at Macedonia, AR. (near Danville) the son of Herbert and Agnes Wilson Avery, who preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by three brothers, Virgil, Vernon and Alfred and one sister, Daisy.

Samuel Arthur Avery, Sr. age 64, of Atkins died Saturday, August 20, 2011. He was born February 21, 1947 at London to the late Loyd Q. and Margaret Virginia Tillman Avery. He attended the Refuge Church and was an avid sports fan and his favorite athletes were his family members. He coached multiple sports teams throughout his life. He loved to cycle; he loved photography and Notre Dame. He worked for Con Agra as a fork lift operator for 42 years. His cycling accomplishments are as follows: Hotter "N" Hell 100 mile bicycle ride - 2007-2010, Northwest Arkansas Challenge, a four-day, 390-mile ride, Tour De Oink 2005-2010, Tour De Wine 2005-2010, Big Dam Bridge Ride 2005-2010, Tour De Valley 2005-2011, Pedal the Peak 2007-2010. For training, Sam averaged 100 miles per week. He was in the Senior Olympics - 2009 and 2010. He won several medals in various sporting events.
He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother, Loyd Q. Avery; a grandson, Samuel Caleb Loyd Avery.
Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Rebekah Childs Avery of Atkins; two sons, Samuel Avery, Jr. and wife, Louise of Casa, Jeffery Avery and wife, Sayuri of Honolulu, Hawaii; one daughter, Kayla Lynch and husband, Zach of Dardanelle; three step children, David "Rain" Dennis and wife, Ashley of Dover, Shawn Wheeler and wife, Jennifer of Conway, Kelly Patterson of Conway; four grandchildren; seven step grandchildren and many other relatives.

Vester Lee Avery, lost his long battle with cancer, June 19, 2000 at his home in Midwest City, OK. He was born September 22, 1938 at Shark, a community up Highway 80.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Agnes Wilson Avery; an infant son; a daughter, Sandy; four brothers, Virgel, Vernon, Veo and Alfred and one sister, Daisy.

Two Year Old Girl Drowns at Ola- A two year old girl, Judy Ann Avey, drowned near her home in Ola Sunday afternoon. When Mrs. Avey discovered that Judy Ann was not in her bed where she had left her while in the kitchen, she went outside to look for her. She found the little girl and her doll floating in a branch which runs behind the house.

Jerry Ray Scoles Awalt, 70, of Dardanelle passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2011, at University of Arkansas Medical Science in Little Rock. She was born October 6, 1941, in Centerville to the late Thelmar and Mildred Underwood Scoles. She was a homemaker who loved to fish and work with her flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roscoe Awalt; and one granddaughter, Jennie Swilley.
Survivors include her children, Clay Awalt and wife Phyllis of Dardanelle, Ronnie Awalt and wife Suzie of Centerville and Sandy Awalt of Dardanelle; one sister, JoAnn Parker of Dardanelle; one brother, Gary Scoles of Cedarville; three grandchildren, Jozf Awalt of Dardanelle, Kenny Awalt of Danville and Lacy Awalt of Conway.

Roscoe Awalt, age 64, of Centerville died Monday at St. Mary's Medical Center in Russellville. He was born February 1, 1938 in Ft. Smith and was the son of the late Henry and Helen Decker Awalt. He was retired from Dow Chemical.

Kenneth Aycock, age 76, of Dardanelle, died Monday, December 29, 2003 at his residence. He was born August 8, 1927 at Atkins, AR to the late Jack and Stella Lile Aycock. He was a retired truck driver for Bilt/Well Roofing, an Army veteran, and a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church of Russellville.
Survivors are his wife, Vera Alewine Aycock of Dardanelle; 2 sons, Larry Aycock of Dardanelle, William (Bill) Aycock of Carrollton, TX; 1 daughter, Jana Dennis of Vilonia, AR; 1 brother and sister-in-law, David and Vivian Kirby of Russellville; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Last rites for Mrs. A. E. Aydelott (sic Aydelott), 32, who succumbed at her home at 305 Park Street, June 2, 1942, were held at the home Wednesday afternoon with the Rev. Alwin Stokes, Presbyterian minister, and Rev. E. Evans, Baptist minister, in charge.

Chester Maris Aydelotte, age 69, of Plainview, died at his home on March 13 after several weeks of illness. He was a native of Indiana and was a former employee of the Elgin, Joliet and Eastern Railroad, working in the Gary steel mills for 45 years. He spent the remaining years of his life in Plainview, the spot of his choice. He was a member of the Switchmen's Union of North America.

Mrs. Eudora Babb, age 81 years, died at the home of her son, Austin, Magazine, December 21 [1939]. She was stricken with a light stroke of paralysis about two weeks before her death. She lived at Riley and Havana in her early years, moving to Magazine about twenty years ago. Rev W.M.
Adcock, Magazine, preached the funeral service and she was buried at Moore's Chapel.
