Mrs. Mary Susie Wallace, 70, of Havana, a native of Yell County, died Friday in a Danville hospital. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her husband, J. V. Mrs. Mildred Hill Wallace, age 81, widow of Willie Bill Wallace, died Saturday, January 16 at Mercy Hospital in Waldron. She was a native of Bluffton, Arkansas, daughter of the late W. H. and Mandy Hutchson Hill, a homemaker and mother.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Otho and Cecil Hill.
Survivors are one daughter Dorothy Mitchell of Oklahoma City, OK; two sisters, Fannie McDonald of Dardanelle and Edrice Cosby of Plainview; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Myrtle Janette Wallace, age 102, of Harvey, Arkansas died Wednesday, February 4, 2004 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville. She was born December 15, 1901 in Thornburg, Arkansas. She was homemaker and mother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Wallace and a sister, Dorothy Dacncerane.

Voyza Austin Wallace, age 81, of Story, died Tuesday, February 2, 1988 in the Yell County Hospital. She was born in Montgomery County, the daughter of James J. Smith and Caroline Lee Smith, a lifetime resident of Aly and Story communities and was a member of the Crystal Hill Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include two sons, Bill Austin of Story and Bobby Austin of Aly; one daughter, Maxine Standerfer of Story; two sisters, Jewell Swaim of Benton and Faye Howerton of Farmersville, CA; twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

DANVILLE - Willie "Bill" Wallace, age 85, of Star Route West, Danville, died Friday, July 11, 1986 at Yell County Hospital at Danville. He was a native of Gainesville, Texas, son of the late James H. and Emma Eliza Hood Wallace and a retired farmer and sawmiller.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mildred Hill Wallace; a son, Edward L. Wallace of Nowata, Okla.; three daughters, Aypha Mae Bonsell of Gravelly, Jannie F. A father and his son drowned Friday night when their boat was caught in the swirling water of the Arkansas River just below the Dardanelle dam, and another man drowned while helping in the search for their bodies. Eugene Waller, 57, and his son Noble, 23, of Dardanelle were drowned when their boat was swept into the strong current and overturned while they were trying to start the motor of the boat. Billie Gene Reasoner, Waller's son-in- law, 23 of Dardanelle, was with them in the boat but managed to cling to a piece of wood until he was found by an unidentified man in another boat. Rudell McConnell, 52, also of Dardanelle, a member of a searching party hunting for the Waller bodies, drowned Saturday when the boat he was riding in also overturned in a whirlpool at the dam. Bill Green, who was in the boat with McConnell, swam to safety. The Yell County Mounted Patrol, the Dardanelle and the Russellville Fire Departments Rescue Squads look part in the search for the bodies, which have all been recovered. Eugene Waller, an employee of the Arkansas Power and Light Co. for 20 years was a Mason and a member of the First Baptist Church.

Ernest "Ernie" W. Wallis, age 86, of Mtn. View, CA died April 25, 1998. He was the husband of the late Minnie Wallis, for over 62 years. He was a native of Havana, AR and a longtime resident of Mtn. View, CA, a retired mechanic and carpenter. He was a volunteer for the Food Bank at the Senior Ctr. in Mtn. View for over 15 years.
He is survived by a son, Dee Wayne Wallis of Caldwell, Idaho; two daughters, Erma Cooper of Lemoore, CA and Patsie Wallis of Murphys, CA; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Lola Valentine of Arkansas; also many beloved nieces and nephews.

Lucille Wallis, age 83 of Danville died Saturday, November 15, 2003, at Dardanelle Nursing Center in Dardanelle. She was born July 20, 1920, in Casa, Arkansas to the late Ira and Leona Chesney Smith. She was a mother, homemaker, and a member of the Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Baxter Wallis; a brother, Seth "Buddy" Smith, and a sister, Selma Logan.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Shirley Wallis of Danville; sisters, Reba Whitfield of McKinleyville, CA, Maryon Ellen Hurry of Modesto, CA, Mary Ester Hall of Modesto, CA; a brother, H. T. Mrs. Charlotte Ellen West Walls, aged 62, of Belleville died Sunday. She was born in England and came to the United States when she was 21 years old. She was a Methodist. She was the widow of Rev. Robert L. Walls, to whom she was married May 19, 1925, and who died six years ago.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Roberta Harkey of Belleville and Mrs. Edith Gillespie of Trowbridge Calif., a sister, Miss Annie West of France, and four grandchildren.

Dannia Allene Damon Walls age 57 of Centerville passed away Sunday, December 25, 2011 at River Valley Medical Center. She was born August 21, 1954 at Morrilton, Arkansas to the late Leslie and Louise Kester Damon. She was a member of the Ard Community Baptist Church. Dannia loved to go shopping and most of all she loved her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Carolyn Damon Mason and Elizabeth Damon Scruggs.

Rev. Robert L. Walls, Belleville, died Thursday, July 11, 1946 after an illness of only a few hours. He is a veteran of three wars: The Spanish-American War, Boyer Uprising and World War I. For the past seven years Rev. Walls has been preaching in several of the small communities. For the last year he has been preaching at Moss Creek where he has made many friends and they learned to love him.
The funeral services were conducted at the Methodist church at Belleville by Rev. Dorman, Danville and Rev. B. A. McKnight, the local pastor.
Rev. Walls leaves to mourn, his wife, two daughters, Edith and Roberta, both of the home and one sister, Mrs. Mamie McDonald, Minneapolis, Minnesota, and several nieces and nephews.
He was laid to rest in the Russell Cemetery where the friends brought many beautiful flowers. OLA - David Edward Walsh, age 68, of Ola died Sunday, February 15, 1987 at his home. He was the son of the late Howard Emerson and Cassie Mae Roy Walsh. He was a retired machinist for Teledyne Continental Motors in Michigan, and was a Methodist.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Jean Walsh of Ola; a son, Stanley Greene of Dardanelle; two daughters, Carla Hayes of Ola and Cindy Epperson of Fremont, Mich.; a brother Walter Walsh of Midland, N. C. and four grandchildren.

Mr. G.E. Walters, 65, Los Angeles, California, but formerly of Stafford, was killed instantly Thursday, April 25, going from work on a pipeline at Long Beach, Calif. Harry Ray Walters, 79, of Pearcy died Friday, Oct. 2, 1998. He was an elder at Lamar Church of Christ, deacon at Hazel Street Church of Christ in Hot Springs, member of Richard Street Church of Christ, native of Alikchi, Okla., son of the late B. F. (Buck) and Amanda Walters, served in the United States Navy, and a retired employee of Arkansas Nuclear One.

Sarah Imojean "Jean" Billingsley Walters, 85, of Pearcy, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006 in a local nursing home. She was born May 29, 1921 at Gravelly, to Otis Bryan and Lou Alice Williams Billingsley. She was a homemaker and a member of Airport Road Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Harry Ray Walters, and a brother, Nathaniel Billingsley.

John Edward Waltjen, age 73, of New Blaine died Sunday, February 26, 2006 at Saint Marys Hospital. He was born June 19, 1932 at Cleveland, Ohio to the late Jane Nagroski. He was originally from Ohio, he and Laura moved to New Blaine in 1991 after living in Phoenix, AZ for 25 years. He was a US Army Veteran serving from 1949 to 1955. He was a member of the American Paint Horse Association and International Spotted Horse Registry.
He is preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.
Survivors include his wife, Laura Waltjen of New Blaine; son and daughter-in-law, Michael John and Dee of Parma, OH; brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Suzie of Ann Arbor, MI; sister-in-law, Carl and Suzie of Ann Arbor, MI; sister, Jackie of Pencil Bluff; step father, Edward of Pencil Bluff; six grandchildren and grand daughter-in-law; great grandchild; nine nieces and nephews; numerous other family and friends.

A. J. Ward, age 80, of Bryant's Cove community near Casa, AR died Friday, January 14, 2000 at the Dardanelle Nursing Center in Dardanelle, AR. He was born August 15, 1919 in the Bryant's Cove community to the late Andrew J. and Mintie McElroy Ward. He was a WWII Veteran, retired plumber at Winrock Farms, a deacon at the Hickory Grove Free Will Baptist Church, a member of the Ola VFW and a Mason.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanetha June Ward.
Survivors are two sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Linda Ward and Philip and Vicky Ward all of Casa, AR; daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Mike Sarhan of Petit Jean Mtn., a brother, Gordon Ward of Casa, AR; a sister, Helen Bustos of Fresno, CA; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
