Estelle W. Noblett, age 80, of Danville, AR died Sunday, July 15, 2001 at St. Mary's Hospital in Russellville, AR. She was born in Waltreak, June 24, 1921, daughter of the late Art and Onie Kitchens Woodard. She was a mother, homemaker, retired beautician and a member of the Danville First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank M. Noblett and a sister, Lee Woodard.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Leta and Raymond George of Danville, AR; three grandsons and granddaughters-in-law, Allan and Leigh Ann George of Russellville, AR, Brent and Melissa George of Centerville, AR and Jimmy and Beth George of Danville, AR; five great-grandchildren, Brandon, Brittany, Kamryn, Avery and Hannah; three sisters, Ezelle Pruitt, Cebelle James and Shirley Fowler all of Danville; one brother, Bud Woodard of Danville.

Floyd Earl Noblett, age 71, of Gilkey passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at St. Vincents in Little Rock. He was born January 11, 1945, in Ola, Arkansas to the late Earl & Ilee Black Noblett. He was a National Guard Veteran and retired owner of E&F Roofing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Noblett and Ilee & Dale Prince; daughter-in-law, Patty Noblett.

Francis M. "Frank" Noblett, age 60, of Danville, died Saturday, November 20, at the Yell County Hospital. He was a native of Yell County and was the son of the late Albert and Neva Kimbrough Noblett. He was a retired drive groundman of the Arkansas Power and Light Co. and a Veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Estelle Woodard Noblett of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Leta George of Danville; three brothers, Cecil Noblett of Dardanelle, Earl Noblett of Belleville and Harold Noblett of Danville; five sisters, Mrs. Delia Ward of Danville, Mrs. Mamie Horn of Danville, Mrs. Betty Morris of Belleville, Mrs. Jocie Ross and Mrs. Rachel Burfield, both of Ola; and 3 grandchildren.

Hubert Harold "Fuzzy" Noblett, age 76, of Danville died Friday, November 14, 2003, at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. He was born October 4, 1927, in Waltreak, Arkansas to the late Albert and Dora Ann Pledger Noblett. He was a retired line worker for Petit Jean Poultry in Danville.
He was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters, Cecil, Earl, Odell, Frank, Tommy, & Jake Noblett, Dellie Ward and Sylvia Emery.

Malone Noblett, age 68, of Dardanelle, Tuesday, May 20, 1986 at the Baptist Medical Center Hospital in Little Rock Noblett was a native of Waltreak in Yell County. He was the late Albert and Dora Pledger Noblett, a retired Sawmill and Timber worker, and member of the Centerville Assembly of God Church.

Otis Odell Noblett, age 41, of Belleville, died Wednesday afternoon September 1 as a result of Lightning. He was a native of Shark, a Roofer, a son of Mrs. Dora Rose, and the late Albert Noblett.

Odell Noblett of Belleville was fatally Injured Wednesday afternoon in Bonneville when he was struck by lightning as an electrical storm was passing through that area. Noblett was roofing a new home when lightning evidently struck him directly causing him to fall from the roof. Another unidentified man was critically injured by the same bolt of lightning as he was working in the attic on the air conditioning system. According to authorities, Noblett was pronounced dead on arrival at the Bonneville City Hospital. The accident happened at approximately 4:50 p.m. A spokesman at the hospital said it appeared that Noblett was killed instaneously by the lightning.
He is survived by his wife and two children.

Jimmy Lawrence "Larry" Nolen, age 63 of Shreveport, LA and former resident of Waskom, TX died, June 6, 2004. He was born November 1, 1940 in Watsonville, CA to Lawrence Albert and Imogene Tadlock Nolen. He was a 2 1/2 year resident of Shreveport, LA and a former resident of Waskom, TX. He was a PFC in the Marine Corps from 1958 until 1962 and was presently working as a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence A. Nolen and a son, Cody Jack Nolen.

Lawrence Albert Nolen, aged 43, of Bluffton died at a Little Rock hospital Friday, September 1, after a long illness. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Frances Nolen; one son, J. L. Nolen of Garden Grove, Calif.; two daughters, Sandra and Susan of the home; four brothers, J. E. and E. A. of Bakersfield, Calif., J. W. of Freedom, Calif, and W. L. of Hobbs, New Mexico; six sisters, Mrs. Georgia Hearrell of Bluffton, Mrs. Minnie Hearrell, Mrs. Dolly Rese, Mrs. Eula Fisher of Bakersfield, Calif, Mrs. Ruby Rouse of Odessa, Texas, Mrs. Ola Lemon of Bakersfield, Calif.; and one grandson. Mr. Loy Dale Nolen, 76, went to be with his Savior and Lord on January 22, 2014. He died of natural causes after a prolonged and courageous battle against leukemia and lung cancer. Mr. Nolen was born on February 17, 1937 in Danville, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Canal A. and Susan Arizona Nolen. Mr. Nolen served on the USS Randolph carrier as an Aviation Ordinance Specialist during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired Iron Worker from Arkansas Local 321. Mr. Nolen has resided in Saline County for the last 62 years.
He is survived by his brother, Tommy Nolen of Benton, and four children- Russell Nolen of Kalispell, Montana, Karen Pearce of Kalispell, Montana, Susan Ballou of Nemo, Texas and Dr. Kimberely Sweet of Mansfield, Texas. He was blessed with five grandchildren- Camren Robinson of Arlington, Texas, Lauren Vallas of Waco, Texas, Sara Pearce of Kalispell, Montana, and Austin and Michael Sweet of Mansfield, Texas, nephews, Jordan and Joseph Nolen of Benton, Arkansas and niece, Laurie Nolen also of Benton, his beloved aunt, Ruth Richards of Danville, Arkansas and his uncle, Glen Inman of Cowetta, Oklahoma. Mr. Nolen was married to the former Joy Vice of Benton, Arkansas for 21 years. He leaves behind many beloved family and friends.
Chapel services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Daniel Sweet of Grand Prairie, Texas officiating. Alvie Gene Noles, age 69, of Story, AR passed away May 17, 2002 at St. Joseph Hospital in Hot Springs. He was a former resident of Chula, AR (Yell Co.). He attended Walnut Grove Community Church and was active in the church. He was born February 6, 1933 in Mt. Tabor, AR to the late Lee R. and Dixie Corene Ratliff Noles. He was united in marriage to Marie Mabry February 23, 1952. He had worked as a logger, for the Forest Service, Job Corp, State Highway Dept and for Thornton Funeral Home and Beasley-Wood Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marie Noles of Story, AR; one daughter and son-in-law, Velda and Wayne Duncan of Hot Springs Village, AR; two sons and daughter-in-law, Larry and Sandy Noles of Russellville, AR and Harry Noles of Hot Springs, AR; three sisters, Eileen Richardson, Electa Graves and Charlene Scott; six grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers and two sons, Gary and Terry Noles.
Funeral Service was May 20 at the Walnut Grove Community Church with his nephew, Bro. Ronny Noles and Bro. Darren Bolt officiating. Burial was in Reed Cemetery at Story under the direction of Thornton Funeral home. Pallbearers were Alfred Harvey, Charles Scantling, Ollie Noles, Ricky Mabry, Randy Noles and Charlie Dunnavant. Stanley Albert Noon, age, 66, of Rover, died Wednesday, November 4, 1987, at the Yell County Hospital at Danville. He was the son of the late Hanley and Clara Shaffer Noon a retired United States Forestry Serviceman and retired Arkansas National Guard member, a veteran of WWII and the Korean War and a recipient of the Bronze Star, a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign; Wars and the American Legion, and a member and deacon of the New Bethel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Vivian Welker Noon; one daughter, Frances Lofland of Rover; two brothers, Paul Noon of Paducah, Kentucky and Kenny Whitledge of Dixon, Kentucky; one sister, Virginia Ruth Steinbeck of Modesto, Calif.; two grandchildren.

Jessie V. Nordin, age 85, of Pine Bluff, AR, died February 9, 2000 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. She was born August 23, 1914 the daughter of the late Alph and Lillian May Scott Kinser of Ola, AR. She married Robert A. Nordin Sr. and moved to Pine Bluff area in 1941. While here she helped on their farm where they raised cotton and also owned Nordin's Grocery Store. She was a past member of the Jefferson County Election Board and a member of the Linwood Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by, a son, Robert A. Nordin, Jr. a brother, Odell Kinser and two sisters, Gearldean Kinser and Doris Kinser.
She is survived by, her husband, Robert A. Nordin, Sr. of Pine Bluff, AR; two brothers, Leroy Kinser of Clarksville, AR and Alph "Junior" Kinser of Woodland, CA; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Robert Amon Nordin, Sr. age 89, of Pine Bluff, AR died May 4, 2002 at Arkansas Convalescent Center. He was born March 13, 1913 in Birta, AR, to George Quincy and Nancy Lou Delia Parker Nordin. He was reared and received his early education in Pope County. He married Jessie V. Kinser, October 13, 1930, and they moved to the Pine Bluff area in 1941, where he farmed. He was a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and a son, Robert Amon Nordin, Jr.
Survivors are a grandson, Mark Nordin and great grandson, Christopher Nordin of Sheridan, and a nephew, Billy Boyce of Pine Bluff.

Bill Kenneth Norman, 67, of Greenwood, AR died August 7, 1995 at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Ft. Smith. He was born December 10, 1927 at Plainview to W. O. and Nannye T. Castleberry Norman. He was founder and president of Bill Norman Lure. He received a bachelor of science degree in education with a major in Biology from the University of Central Arkansas. He was a WWII veteran, member of the Founding Executive Advisory Board of Bass Research Foundation; charter member of F. O. C. A. S. (Fellowship of Christian Angler's Society); charter member of Fellowship of Christian Anglers; International Fishing Hall of Fame; Living Legends of American Sportsfishing and received the Dolphin Award. He was a member of the Harvest Time Tabernacle.
He was preceded in death by a wife, Delma Faye Yates Norman; and a brother, Harold Norman of Russellville.
