James Lewis (Jim) Millard, age 92, of Danville, AR, died Wednesday, April 30, 1997 at Mitchell Nursing Home. He was born September 14, 1904 in Blue Ball, AR to the late James Lewis and Prucia Farnsworth Millard, he retired after 24 years with the United States Forest Service, he was a farmer and Deacon in the Egypt Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Alva Mae Hunt) Millard of the home; one son, Larry Pat Millard of Blue Ball; two daughters, Jimmie Lee (Millard Allen of Blue Ball and Patsy Lee Biggerstaff of Van Buren, AR; four granddaughters; four grandsons; five great-granddaughters and one great grandson.
Service was May 2 at the Egypt Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerrell Willingham and Doyle Reynolds officiating. Burial was in Hunt Cemetery. John Boone Millard, age 79, of Russellville, died Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at Legacy Lodge Nursing Home. A son of the late Robert "Pete" and Barbara Morrow Millard, he was born December 15, 1929 in Yell County. He was a former service station owner and operator, and an over-the-road truck driver. He was also preceded in death by a son, John D. Millard.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis M. Millard; a brother, Leon Millard of Malvern; and two sisters Marine Anderson of Lake City, Michigan; and Arlene Wilkins of San Antonio, Texas.

Kenneth Millard, age 70, of Dardanelle, AR died Monday, June 10, 2002 at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. He was born January 20, 1932 in Blue Ball, AR, the son of the late Kenyon and Rachel Wilkins Millard. He was a retired mechanic for the Russellville School District, was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the Dardanelle Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Chesley Millard and two sisters, Chessie Tarkington and Ann Haston.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Lakin Millard; a son, Keith Millard of Dardanelle, AR; two daughters, Rachell Souza of Clovis, CA and Cindy McGee of Little Rock, AR; three brothers, James, Roy and Lloyd Millard of Pahuska, OK; two sisters, Tressie Chronister and Anna B. Mrs. Marie Grimes Millard, age 73, of Waltreak, AR passed away Thursday, May 30, 1996 at the Fort Smith Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was a native of Ohio, daughter of the late George and Ivy Parker Owens. She was a retired employee of Wayne Farms, she wrote the Dutch Creek News column for the Yell County Record, and was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Opal Grimes and Clifton Millard; a step son, James Millard and daughters, Cassandra "Sandy" Millard and Patsy Ann Millard.

Mrs. Dollie Miller, age 73, of Havana, AR died Wednesday, March 19, 1997 at the St. Edwards Mercy Medical Center in Ft. Smith. She was born October 1, 1923 in Cedar Creek Community, Yell County, Arkansas to the late John and Mary Tapp Capps. She was a homemaker and mother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Miller.

She loved reading her books and was preceded in death by her sister, Rita Miller and her niece, Ciera Miller.

DARDANELLE - Elma Lee Croom Miller, age 78, of Dardanelle died Wednesday, February 11, 1987 at Dardanelle Hospital. She was a native of Dardanelle, the daughter of the late Moses M. Croom and Virginia Goocher Croom, and a member of the United Methodist Church of Dardanelle.
Survivors include her husband, Walter Miller; two brother, M. M. "Buck" Croom and A. J. "Bunny" Croom, both of Dardanelle, and a sister, Mrs. Irene Russell of Dardanelle.
