David Wayne Daily, age 49 of Delaware, died Friday, June 18, 2010 at River Valley Medical Center. He was born November 17, 1960 at Anaheim, CA to E. D. and Marion Jo Russell Daily. He was a member of the sons of Confederate Veterans and a committed member of a motorcycle club.
He is preceded in death by both sets of his grandparents.
Survivors include his wife, Lesa Daily of Delaware; three daughters and a son-in-law, Chrystal Daily of Dardanelle, Tyna Daily of Russellville, and Saydra and Elton Heflin of Dardanelle; two sisters, Carol and Debbie; five grandchildren, Thomas Hayden and Jasmine Rose Mosley, Nathaniel Leon Daily, Serenity Renea Heflin all of Dardanelle, Skyliar LeWayne Daily of Russellville. Marion Jo Daily, 71, of Dardanelle, died Sunday June 19, 2011 at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. Jo was born in Phillipsburg, Kansas on July 12, 1939; and married E. D. Daily April 5, 1958.
Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Parthina Russell; her sister, Billie Lee Casper; and her son, David Wayne Daily.
Jo was survived by her husband of 53 years, E. D. Daily; two daughters Carol and Debbie, her son-in-law Marc Tucker, 4 grandsons: Evan Batton, Brandon, Tyler and Todd Tucker and 5 granddaughters: Cassandra Sweeting, Chelsea Stanton, Chrystal, Tyna and Sadra Daily and seven great grandchildren.

John Willie Dale, age 77, of Centerville died Thursday, April 5, 1984 at his home. He was the son of the late William Leonard and Viola Strait Dale, and was a retired store owner.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Syble Floyd Dale; two sons, Bill Dale of Little Rock and Jerry George of Casa; five daughters, Johnnie Hawkins of Austin, Texas Peggy Giles of Bryant, Betty Bly of Ola, and Patsy Freeman and Terry Renouf of Kenai, Alaska; a brother, Cecil Dale Sr. of Danville, and several grandchildren.

Leo L. Dale, age 84, of Danville, AR died Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville. He was born September 28, 1919 in Yell County to the late Ernest and Maggie Gandy Dale. He retired after thirty five years as a program assistant with Agriculture, Stabilization and Conservation Service USDA and was a member of the Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Selma Smith Dale; a brother, Selba Dale and a sister Johnnie Grace Hester.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis "Jeannie" and Robert Mudd of Lake Jackson, TX; a granddaughter, Lyndsay Shannon Mudd of Lake Jackson, TX and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
Service was April 30 at Cornwell Chapel, Danville with Rev. David Hawkins officiating. Interment was in Earl Ladd Cemetery by Cornwell Funeral Home of Danville, AR. Loyd Dale Bice Jr. "Tiger", age 52, of Danville passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017. He was born May 8, 1965, in Belleville, Illinois to Loyd Dale & Judith Rosemary Baker Bice.
He was a member of the Belleville Wilson Freewill Baptist Church, he was an Army veteran, he was a funeral director for Cornwell Funeral Home. He worked for Morgan's Service Station and Morgan's Trash. Tiger was a member of the F.O.E. Chaplin and Bingo Caller; owner of Karaoke Fun where he volunteered his Karaoke Fun to schools and Yell County Fair. He was a former Yell County Deputy and former city officer for Gentry, Arkansas and past volunteer for Danville Fire Department.
He was preceded in death by his father, Loyd Bice Sr; grandparents, Jessie & Vera Bice and Frank & Hattie Baker.

Mildie Estell Dale, age 94, off Danville, AR died Friday, November 17, 2000 at Chamber Memorial Hospital in Danville. She was born October 3, 1906 in the Omega Community. She was the daughter of the late James Henry and Mozuria Elizabeth Martin Pennington. She had taught school at the Omega School and the Date Bend Number Nine School District. She had retired from the family business, Cecil Dale Gasoline Distributor. She was a member of the Danville Church of Christ and the Danville Order of Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Cecil R. Dale, Sr. on March 10, 1993; a brother, Hugh Pennington and two sisters, Addie Pennington and Jane McMullen.

Mrs. Olive Viola Strait Dale, age 86 years, died at her home in Centerville, September 7, 1954. Mrs. Dale was a daughter of the late P. N. and Olive Whatley Strait, early settlers of Yell County and had lived here her entire life.

Selma M. Dale, age 71, of Danville, died Friday, July 6, 2001 at Chambers memorial Hospital in Danville. She was born August 30, 1929, in Casa, AR to the late William Franklin and Cora Ethel Jaynes Smith. She was a homemaker, mother, and a member of the Casa Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Love C. Smith and William F. Smith, and a sister, Mildred Mode.

Born June 23, 1937 in the lower Spring Creek Community near Belleville, she was the daughter of the late Milas and Leta Rogers Hale. She was a housewife and mother, a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Dardanelle, and a member of Bay Ridge Ladies Golf Association.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Carrie Madden, Syble Kirkwood, Lavada Knight, and Melba Clack, and a brother Loy Hale.

John Charles Damon, age 45 of Dardanelle, died Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at UAMS. He was born May 26, 1965 at Pontiac, Michigan to William Charles and Betty Jean Caldwell Damon. He attended the Faith Church in Dardanelle and was an avid Nascar fan.
He is preceded in death by his father.

Mrs. Ada Emily Aikman Daniel, age 91, of Dumas, died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 1983 at her home. She was born and raised in Bluffton. She was the widow of Ben E. Daniel, and she was a homemaker. Mrs. Daniel was a member of Daniel Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Edgar E. Charles Edward Daniel, age 74, of Hot Springs Village, AR, died Tuesday, January 1, 2008. He was born September 17, 1933, in Bluffton, AR to the late Tom and Viola Daniel. He retired from Navistar after 35 years of service. Preceding he played eight years professional baseball associated with Detroit Timers and closed with the Little Rock Travelers in 1961.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Rita Blackard Daniel; two sons Dr. Robin Daniel and wife Lynn of De Queen, AR; Tad Daniel and wife Jill of Memphis, TN; a daughter, Denise Baker and husband Tim of Memphis, TN; 10 grandchildren Austin, Nathan, Cameron and Keaton Baker, Hunter and Page Daniel, Jessica Daniel Christianson and husband Thor, and Anna, Charlie and Melanie Daniel; and one great-granddaughter, Rita Meg Christianson.

Services will be conducted by Rev. Connell of Conway, assisted by Rev. Tom Kinslow, former pastor of the Bluffton church. Military services will be conducted by the Danville American Legion. James Robert Daniel, better known as Jim Bob, was born at Ola, October 23, 1925. He received his first schooling at Danville where he lived with his family during the years of 1930 and 1933. He finished high school at Fourche Valley High as an honor student of the class of 44.
On June 24th of that year he listed for military training which he received at Fort McClellan, Alabama. Active duty began immediately on arriving in France on December 8th, being placed in the noted 36th Division of the Seventh Army. On December 16th he was entered on the first line and on Christmas Day he went into active duty in the battle of the Belgian Bulge. On March 7 he was wounded in his right hand for which he received the Purple Heart. The next thirty days, including Easter Sunday, April7, he spent in a hospital. He had been re-united with his 141st Inf. only a few days when he was killed in action on April 30th - Just eight days before the fall of Germany - and was awarded the Purple Heart medal posthumously for heroic action in service.

T. J. Daniel, 90, of Russellville, died Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at Russellville Nursing Center. The son of Tom and Juanita Pullen Daniel, he was born January 22, 1918, in Fort Smith. He was a 1936 graduate of Fourche Valley High School and received a degree from Arkansas Tech. He graduated from the Arkansas Law School in Little Rock in 1941. The day after his graduation, he was drafted into the U. S. Army. He served with the U. S. Army Quartermasters and was attached to a the Fifth Marine Division that fought at Iwo Jima. T. J. was with the second wave of soldiers on Iwo Jima and was a witness to the renowned flag raising at Mt. Suribachi. T. J. 's brother was killed in Germany in July of 1945. While home on leave he married his high school sweetheart, Verna Taylor on July 8, 1945, at her parent's home in Bluffton, Ark. He co-founded and worked with the W. S. Daniel Insurance and Real Estate Agency in Little Rock until 1960. The family moved to Yell County where he operated a local insurance agency in Ola until 1968. He opened and operated a grocery store in Plainview until 1974.
He and Verna then moved to Russellville where he finished his career at Humphrey Funeral Service, retiring in 1989. He was a member of the Riggs-Hamilton Post of the American Legion. He was a Sunday school teacher and member of the Board of Stewards at Wesley United Methodist Church in Russellville for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Verna Taylor Daniel of Russellville; two sons, Jim Taylor Daniel and wife, Pam, of Keensburg, Colo. and John R. "Bobby" Daniel and wife, Epi Renteria, of Carrollton, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Louise Ellington Daniel of Russellville; two grandchildren, Ann Greenwich and husband, Jeremy, of Nairobi, Kenya, and Dr. Tom N. Daniel and wife, Melissa, of Temple, Texas; four great-grandchildren, Gabe, Caleb and Madelyn Greenwich of Nairobi, Kenya, and Hayden Daniel, Temple, Texas.
Funeral will be at 10 a. m. Monday, December 29, 2008, at Wesley United Methodist Church. The Rev. Blake Bradford will officiate. LITTLE ROCK - Albert Bart Daniels, age 75, of Ola died Monday, October 21, 1985, at Veterans Hospital in Little Rock. He was the son of the late George A. and Eva Goodson Daniels, retired from the Air Force, veteran of World War II and a member of Ola Church of Christ.

Lee Ann Daniels passed away the 23rd day of March, 2012 at the Dardanelle Nursing Center. She was born 16 August 1951 at St Mary's Hospital in Russellville, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Bobby Lee and Cornelia Taylor Daniels. She was a retired teacher, having taught at Fordyce High School as basketball and track coach for 12 years. She continued her teaching career at Russellville High School as biology and science teacher and coach for the Russellville High Swim team for 18 years. She retired in 2005. Lee Ann was very active in sports and her community. As a youth she and her sister, Jan, umpired for little league softball. She was an avid golfer with the Lion's Den and was a long time employee at Bay Ridge Country Club. She was a member of the Dardanelle Church of Christ, served as Chaplin since 1997 for the Dardanelle Rock Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution as well as the Cameo Club. She served as a committee member for the Russellville High Scholarship Committee. Lee Ann was also a member of the Dardanelle Red Hatters Association. She enjoyed her second career delivering meals on wheels for the Dardanelle Senior Activity Center.
Lee Ann is survived by her mother, Cornelia Taylor Daniels of Dardanelle, a brother, Davis Gateley of Dardanelle, a nephew, Jeff Gateley and his wife, Heather, of Dardanelle, a niece, Karla Gateley Marks and her husband, Casey, a great nephew, Teley Marks and great niece, Sophie all of California, a nephew, Taylor Morgan and nephew, Andrew Morgan and his wife, Valerie, and a brother in law, Jerry Morgan and his wife, Geraldine all of Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her sister, January Daniels Morgan, her father, Bobby Lee Daniels, and grandparents, Jeff and Clyde Taylor and George and Aleen Daniels.
Funeral service was March 26, 2012 at the Dardanelle Church of Christ with burial at Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle. Pallbearers are John Phillips, Kevin Taylor, David Berge, Jr., Max Mathis, John Lonon and Josh Witthouse.
