Helen Cline, age 85, a resident of Belleville, AR died Saturday, September 18, 2004 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville, AR. She was born February 16, 1919 at Belleville, AR to the late Hugh M. and Lula Bell Ingram York. She was a former employee of Arkansas Valley Industries (AVI) and a member of the Upper Spring Creek Free Will Baptist Church at Belleville. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading and canning. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John E. cline; a son, Jimmy Cline; a daughter, Eula Mae Fowler; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Boyd and Alta Cline of Belleville, Bobby Cline of Dardanelle and Johnny and Shirley Cline of Russellville, AR; two daughters and sons-in-law, Catherine Ed Schmitz of San Manuel, AZ and Jeanette and James Black of Danville, AR; two brothers, James York of Belleville and Joe York of Danville; three sisters, Willa Farrow and Rebecca Duncan of Belleville and Ann Budlong of Plainview, AR; 22 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Funeral was September 21, 2004 at the Upper Spring Creek Free Will Baptist Church at Belleville officiated by Rev. Earl Stapleton. Burial was in the Upper Spring Creek Cemetery under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville. Pallbearers were grandsons. Mrs. Helen E. Foster Cline, age 71 of Dardanelle, AR died Thursday, June 26, 1997 at the Dardanelle Hospital. She was born April 5, 1926 in Paris, AR to the late Tom and Maggie Jenkins Marple. She was a member of the Church of Christ, a homemaker and mother, life member of the DAV Women's Auxiliary Post Simpson Post Chapter 27.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Foster, step-son, John Cline, step-daughter, Freida Kendrick.
Survivors: husband, Lloyd Cline; three sons, Lonnie Foster, Larry Foster and Don Ford all of Dardanelle; three daughters, Salley Dale of DeQueen, AR, Verla Moyer of Mountainberg, AR and Lawana David of Norman, OK; a step-son, David Cline of Houston, TX; a stepdaughter, Debra Boydston of Houston, TX; two sisters, Ruby Stone of Dardanelle, AR and Mary Cross of Siloam Springs, AR; 26 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Service was June 30, 1997 at the Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with the Rev. Chenowith officiating. Interment was in the Pisgah Cemetery by Cornwell Funeral Service of Dardanelle. Inez E. Cline, age 75, of Hot Springs, AR died Sunday, May 2, 1999. She was the daughter of Sadie Byers of Dardanelle, AR. She was born December 1, 1923 at Possum Kingdom, a daughter of the late Floyd Halsell; she was a charter member of the Hot Springs Historical Society having served as a vice president and president of the organization. She was editor and coeditor of the Historical Society's annual publication from 1963-87. She was a newspaper columnist and radio talk show host. She received the Inez E. Cline Award from the Garland County Historical Preservation Coalition.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Cline. Other survivors include a son and his wife, Billy Garland and Betty Cline of Hot Springs; a daughter and her husband, Nancy Kay and Glen Minton of Story; a sister and her husband, Jolene and Dr. James L. Maupin of Dardanelle, AR; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Margaret Ruth Cline, age 57, of Dardanelle, died Friday, January 31, 2003 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born in Kansas City, Kansas, Daughter of the late Lewis Mars Widener. She was a retired supervisor, with ConAgra Frozen Foods in Russellville. She has also worked for many years at Mitchell's Nursing Home in Danville. She was a member of the Mammoth Missionary Baptist Church in Mammoth, Arizona.

Nelson of Wolfe City and Eugene Moore officiated. Mrs. Cloninger had been a resident of the Commerce area for the past 46 years. She was born January 13, 1833, to Henry C. and Anna Russ. April 24, 1898, she married James Isome Chapman. Following Mr. Chapman's death, she married E. F. Cloninger, October 22, 1905. She had been a member of the Baptist church for many years.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. L. L. Wood, Fort Worth; Mrs. E. P. Eubanks, Midland; and Mrs. A. D. Myers, Colorado City; five sons, Dewey Chapman, Commerce; L. R. Cloninger, C. L. Cloninger and Aubrey Cloninger, all of Fort Worth, and H. C. Cloninger of Midland; 17 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one great-great- grandchild; a brother, Joe Russ; and four sisters, Mrs. Lena Hutchings, Mrs. Addie Clark, Mrs. Eva Hollingsworth and Mrs. Erma Crawley, all of Ml. Funeral services for Mrs. Delphia Cloninger were held at the Havana Church of Christ on Friday, January 31, at 2:30 p. m. with Elder Lucian Farrar, of Russellville and Jule Miller of Searcy, officiating. Mr. Miller a grandson of Mrs. Cloninger by marriage.
Mrs. Cloninger had been ill at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ardelle Allen Gray, for several months. The family moved from Danville to Russellville last July. In addition to Mrs. Gray, she is survived by three other daughters, Mrs. Mildred Heihn of Little Rock, Mrs. Vivian Morgan of Norfolk, Va. and Mrs. Bonnie Faulk of Kenset, one son, Robert Allen of Oklahoma City, Okla.; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. M. Mrs. W. H. Cloninger, Havana, died at Smith's hospital, Paris, last Friday October 31, of hemorrhage. Before marriage Mrs. Cloninger was Tommie Earls.
Besides her husband she is survived by daughters Eva Mae and Ora Frances of the home and a son Quinton of Shreveport, La. and sisters Mrs. Ethel Earls, Mrs. Winnie Gibson, Mrs. Johnnie Hankins of Havana, Mrs. Earthy Caper, Atkins, Mrs. Jennie Apple, Carden Bottom, Mrs. Lou Waggoner, Ft. Smith and brothers, Bud and Charlie Earls, Havana. Mrs. Cloninger was a member of the Assembly of God Church at Vivian, Louisiana. The service was in the Assembly of God Church at Havana with services by Rev. E. A.
Jestice with burial in the Russell Cemetery, Belleville, where Mrs. Cloninger's parents are buried. The flowers were beautiful and many followed the coffin to the grave. Her husband, Raymond Lloyd Clowers, and her son, Raymond Leon Clowers, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Pearrow, and her daughter, Anna Lloyd; her brother and sister-in-law, Everette and Sarah Whitford; her sister-in-law, Mrs. Lewis Whitford; and several other family members.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Luke McKnight and Cecil Clubb and a sister, Mavis McKim.

William Arthur (Ott) Clubb, aged 80, of 37 Sunnydale Drive (Little Rock, AR), a retired automobile salesman, died Monday (Feb 16, 1970). A native of Knoxville, Johnson County, he was the son of the late Harlow C. Clubb and Cannie (Arkansas) Fleming Clubb. He had worked with Sadler-Ross Motor Company and Jennings Motor Company until his retirement in 1960. He was a Baptist. He had lived in Little Rock for more than 50 years.

Cly Cluck, age 82, of Van Buren, AR. died Friday, March 5, 1999 at a local hospital. He was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Ft. Smith was a retired conductor for the Missouri-Pacific Railroad and past chairman of the Union-Pacific local 507. He also was a past deacon of the First Free Will Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Kate (Woods) Cluck and a son, Harold Cluck.

Walter Lee Coates, aged 78, a retired farmer, died at his home at Casa Monday. He was a native of Casa and a member of the Church of Christ.

Anna P. Cobb, age 88, a resident of Ola, AR, formerly of Paris, TX died Saturday, December 12, 1998 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville, AR. She was born August 16, 1910 at Jumbo, OK to Thomas and Pearl Lowe) Robinson. She was a retired Tax Auditor, a member of the Eastern Star and was a Presbyterian.
She was the widow of the late Howell C. Cobb and preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Dr. Thomas D. Robinson of Atkins.
She is survived by a son, Tom Cobb of Bayard, NM; daughter son-in-law, Nancy and George Dobry of North Muskegon, MI; three grandchildren; a brother, Charles J. "Tag" Robinson of Conway, AR; sister-in-law, Dortha Buford of Ola, AR; numerous nieces and nephews in Arkansas and Oklahoma.
Funeral service will be 2 PM Wednesday, December 16, 1998 at the Humphrey Chapel in Russellville officiated by Rev. James Ragsdale. The body will be cremated. Eula Maye Watkins Cobb, age 96, of Danville, AR died Tuesday, December 28, 1999 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville, AR. She was the widow of Forrest Vanon Cobb. She was born on November 30, 1903 in Belleville, AR, daughter of the late Julian Ernest and Sarah Fannie Fowler Watkins. She graduated from Belleville High School, taught school at the Corinth Community School and became a registered nurse at the Okmulgee City Hospital School of Nursing doing her post graduate work at the Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. She served as director of Nursing at the Okmulgee City Hospital School of Nursing, she received her public health certificate from George Peabody college in Nashville, TN, which started a 29 year career as a public health nurse serving in Okmulgee and Stillwater, OK before coming to Yell County in 1944, she retired as the Yell County Health Nurse in 1966 then continued to work as a nurse for the Yell County Hospital now Chambers Memorial Hospital for many years after her retirement. She was a member of the Danville First Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by, five brothers, Ernest, Wendel, Opal, Arthur and Henry Watkins and by three sisters, Ouida Hull Mayfield, Naomi Williams and Wana Morgan.
Survivors include, her step daughter and son-in-law, Allie Jean and Linton Moudy of Danville, AR; a sister, Ruth Watkins Holcomb of Broken Arrow, OK; a grandson and his wife, Dr. Forrest L. and Sandra Moudy of Danville; three great-grandchildren, Ross J. Moudy, Susan L. Moudy and Marcus Cobb Moudy all of Danville and by several nephews and nieces.
Funeral service was Thursday, December 30, 1999 at the Danville First Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Walker and Rev. Jimmy Holmes officiating. DANVILLE - Forrest Vandon Cobb, age 86, of Danville, formerly of Belleville, died Saturday, February 1, 1986 at Danville. He was a retired employee of the Arkansas Highway Department and was a member of Christian Masonic Lodge 396 of Belleville.

Gene Lee Cobb, age 72, of California died October 2, 2001, at St. Mary Medical Center. The memorial service was held Friday at 10:00 a. m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with the Rev. Steven E. Woolley and Ernest F. Campbell officiating. Burial was in private. Mr. Cobb was born August 23, 1929, in Belleville, AR, to Eugene Jordan and Hazel Lee Harrod Cobb. When he was 8 his mother died. His father married Lucille Cobb. He graduated in 1947 from Ola Arkansas High School, and then served in the U. S. Navy from 1947-1956. He served at Balboa Navy Hospital, Camp Pendleton, Calif. and was a Navy medic with Charlie Co. 1st platoon, 5th Marine Division, in Korea for 13 months. He earned a Bronze Star participating in invasions. He earned an associate degree in industrial technology, mechanical engineering at Sacramento City College.
He married Marilyn McPherson in 1956 at San Leandro, Calif. Working in California for Continental Can Co. he was transferred in 1974 to the Walla Walla plant. A customer representative, he retired in 1985. He then worked as a supervisor for academic buildings and assistant to the physical plant manager at Whitman College until he was injured and retired with a disability. Mrs. Cobb died in 1986.
On June 21, 1987, he married Patti Kerr in Walla Walla. They traveled for many years. He was an avid reader, a hunter, fisherman, woodcarver, skier and ski and water safety instructor. He could fix almost anything. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Elks 287, Walla Walla Country Club, Masonic Lodge F&AM, and volunteered at Fort Walla Walla Museum. He enjoyed daily coffee time with friends.
Survivors include his wife, at home; a daughter, Marliee Callister of Sydney, Australia; a son, Robert Cobb of Canoga Park, Calif., two stepdaughters, Kathy Wilkerson of Bozeman, Mont. and Susan Kerr of Fort Collins, Colo., a stepson, Robert Kerr of Portland; his stepmother, Lucille Cobb of Ola; a brother, Maurice Cobb of Ola; one grandson; and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren. Harrod Maurice Cobb, age 80, of Ola died Monday, January 23, 2012 at St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center. He was born May 18, 1931 at Belleville to the late Eugene Jerrod and Hazel Harrod Cobb, graduated Ola High School in 1949 as Valedictorian, graduated from U of A College of Pharmacy in 1953 and served in the U.S. Navy from 1953-1955. After discharge he worked retail pharmacies in Morrilton, Conway and Pine Bluff. He went to work in 1958 for Parke-Davis Drug Co. as a Sales Representative calling on physicians, pharmacies and hospitals. He returned to Ola with Cobb Drug Store in 1971. He later took over the business and purchased the pharmacy from his father. He ran his business, working daily until he fell ill late in 2011. He was a member of the Ola United Methodist Church. He was a member of NARD/NCPA, The Arkansas Pharmacists Association and received the 50 year Gold Certificate in 2005 from the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy. He participated in various local school programs and other civic organizations. He supported U.S. servicemen and Veteran's organizations. Dad was a sportsman and athlete. He enjoyed duck hunting, fishing and was a loyal razorback Fan. As a member of the Oaklawn Jockey Club he owned horses, won a few races and loved going to the race meet. He was also an honorary member of the Frontier Social Club. He will be terribly missed by family and friends.
