Our precious little Hope Renae Moughon, age 2 of Dardanelle was called home by the Lord Tuesday, January 3, 2006 after an illness at Arkansas Childrens Hospital. She was born July 16, 2003 at Fort Smith.

Gilkey Woman Found Dead At Her Home - Mrs. Vina Moulder, 56, of Gilkey, was found dead in bed at her home about 5 p. m. January 2, 1959. She lived alone. She was found by Obie Elmore and Fayette Cannon, who went to her home to investigate after her presence was missed by neighbors. An inquest was held by the county coroner, Mrs. Violet Bailey and the jury returned a verdict of natural causes and that she apparently died during the night of January 1. Mrs. Moulder was a Missionary Baptist and had lived all her life in the Gilkey Community or nearby.

Mrs. Lola Mounce, 74, Bluffton, was called in death July 20.
She is survived by her husband Mr. Junk [Jink] Mounce and seven children, Tommie Ware, Ralph, Charlie, Owen and Private Ted Mounce and two daughters.
All were present for the funeral but Charlie and one daughter. Rev. Charlie Fry, M.E. Pastor of Gravelly, conducted the funeral. The body was laid to rest in the Bluffton Cemetery Tuesday afternoon. Lillian Bernice Mounts, 91, of Ashdown, Arkansas, passed away Friday, April 13, 2012 in Ashdown. She was born in Havana, Arkansas on September 15, 1920 to J. Henry and Ruth Robbins Chappell. As a young girl she was baptized into the Christian faith at a camp meeting in Yell County, Arkansas. She was a homemaker who loved to bake, play bingo and go to the boats.
Lillian was preceded in death by husband, Jack Mounts and daughter, Jackie Spears. Mrs.
Mounts is survived by her son, Jim Mounts and wife Paula of Ashdown; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; seven great great- grandchildren and three sisters; special family members, Mike and Angela Spears, Imogene Lowery and Felicia Wade; special friends, Clyde Pennington and Kelly Stone.

A. C. Mowery, Jr., age 86, of Danville, died Friday, December 10, 2004 at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. He was born on October 6, 1918 in Hot Springs to A. C, Sr. and Minnie Marsh Mowery. He retired as State Director for ASCS, was past Yell County Director for ASCS, a member of the United Methodist Church in Danville serving as President of the men's group and Lay Leader for over five years. He was chairman of the Yell County Democratic Party for ten years, was past State Representative for Madison County, member of the Yell County Cattleman's Association, former member of the State Highway Commission. He was a 32-degree mason and a 50 year member of the Huntsville Masonic Lodge. He was the former owner of the Mowery-Gaskill Ford Motor Company in Huntsville.
He was preceded in death by a son, Charles Thomas Mowery, his parents, A. C, Sr. and Minnie Marsh Mowery, and two sisters, Anna Mae Riley and Addie Pearl Merritt.
Survivors are his wife of 64 years, Euola Louton Mowery, one son and daughter-in-law, A. C. III and Geneva Mowery of Springdale; one daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Jay Cain of Hurst, TX; daughter-in-law, Shirley Mowery of Springdale; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held today, Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at 2:00 PM at the United Methodist Church in Danville with Rev. David Hawkins officiating. Euola Mowery went to be with the Lord on February 19, 2013, in Springdale, AR, at the age of 92. Euola was born June 24, 1920, in Amity, AR to C.M. and Flossie Louton. She was an active member of The United Methodist Church in Danville, AR. Euola relished her life as a wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She and A.C. lived in Huntsville for 16 years where they raised their three children. While living there she was an active member of the United Methodist Women and sang in the church choir. She served on the Huntsville School Board for 5 years, first as a member and later as president. Euola and A.C. retired and moved to Danville in 1972 where they lived for 34 years. Euola moved to Sprinudale in 2005, after the death of her husband. She had a great love for her family and will be remembered as a wonderful wife to her husband, mother to her children, and a loving "Granny" to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. A consummate mother and home-maker, one of her greatest joys was preparing meals for all of them.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 64 years, A.C. Mowery, Jr.; son, Charles Thomas Mowery; sisters, Marie Payne and Alberta Louton; brother, Maurice Louton; and niece, Lila Payne.
She is survived by her son, A.C. Betty Jean Muck, age 66 of Texas, formerly of Danville, passed away Monday, August 16, 2010 at Presbyterian Hospital in Piano, TX. She was born April 15, 1944 in Kingston, AR to the late James Leon and Betsy Irene Adamson Whitlow.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael Wayne Muck; infant brother, Johnny Whitlow.

DANVILLE - Michael W. Muck, age 21, of Danville was killed about 4:15 a. m. today, either when his car went out of control throwing him from the vehicle or when another car ran over his body.
The accident occurred on a Highway 27 hill eight miles north of Danville. State Trooper Dale Hon said Muck was headed south on Highway 27 in a small car and apparently lost control going down a hill. The vehicle ran off the highway, went back on the highway and overturned twice, throwing Muck from the Vehicle onto the pavement. Hon said a short time later a southbound vehicle driven by Jack Redfern, 45, of Danville ran over Muck. Hon said it was not known how much time elapsed between Muck's accident and when he was run over by the Redfern car. Redfern was not injured.

DANVILLE - Michael Wayne Muck, age 21, of Danville was injured fatally in an automobile accident Thursday, January 1, 1987. He was a native of Danville and home on leave from the Navy.

Bessie Mable Mulder, age 89, a resident of Russellville, AR died Saturday, January 1, 2000 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center at Russellville, AR. She was born on August 5, 1910 at Benkelman, NE to Fredrick and Addie R. Farris Alsbury. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baker's Creek Baptist Church. She was the widow of the late John J. Mulder and preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, two sisters and one grandchild.
Survivors include, two sons, John E. Mulder of Gibsonville, NC and L. Ralph Mulder of Russellville, AR; three daughters, Gloria M. Sindt, Berniece A. Ragsdale and Shirley A. Mrs. Mullen was born September 13, 1911, in Havana. Arkansas, the daughter of Charles E. and Willie (Vinsett) Wilkins. She married Jack Willard Mullen on September 21, 1935, in Riley, Arkansas.
He preceded her in death on March 28, 1978. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Ingraham Christian Church. She loved her church work and enjoyed quilting and sewing. Mrs.

Mary Mable Hulsey Mullinax, age 79, of Plainview, AR. passed away on March 20, 2001 in the Yell County Nursing Home in Ola, AR. She was born on April 4, 1921 to the late John Washington Qualls and the late Ellen Lenderman Qualls at the Fir Community in Montgomery County, AR. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who loved the Lord immensely. She will be missed by many.

William Ervin Mullinax, age 87, from Plainview died November 10, 2001. He was born June 14, 1914 in Hochatown, OK to the late Jess Dee and Callie Mae Duncan Mullinax.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Evelyn Brown Mullinax and his second wife Mabel Hulsey Mullinax; one brother, Jake Mullinax of Las Vegas, Nevada; two sisters, Marie Mullinax Walker and Margie Mullinax Hoel of Kingman, AZ.
Survivors are two sons Bruce W. and wife Juanita of Bigelow, AR, Alvin L and wife Cathy of Muskogee, OK; Numerous grandchildren and great grand children and great-great grand children. Dorothy M. Mullins, 80 of Little Rock passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2011 in Danville, Arkansas. She was born on December 31, 1930 in Hunter, Arkansas and was the daughter of Russell Hall and Effie Thompson Hall. Dorothy was retired from Lucent Technology. She will be remembered for being a hard worker, who loved gardening, and cooking for her kids, and grandkids, and would go out of her way to help others.
She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years Robert Duane Mullins, Sr.
She is survived by her children Bob (Judy) Mullins of Hot Springs Village, Cliff (Lana) Mullins of Plainview, Troy Mullins of Little Rock, Lela (Bill) Gillespie of Centerville, John David (Anna) Mullins of Plainview, Kenneth (Melba) Mullins of Conway, and Michael Mullins (Ruth Douglas) of Ola; sixteen grandchildren, and twenty - three great grandchildren, two sisters Doris Hadley of Missouri and Betty Gaswint of Arizona, and sister- in-law Peggy (Everett) Bene of Little Rock.
Graveside funeral services were Friday, August 12, 2011 at Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Alexander, with Everett Bene officiating. Larry R. Mullins, 61, of Danville, Arkansas passed away on August 8, 2014 at his home. Larry was born on August 7, 1953 to the late Rufus Ratusand Stella Frances (Willis) Mullins in Lepanto, Arkansas.
Larry is survived by his fiancee, Reta Hunter; daughter, Candace Mullins; three step-sons, Joey Day, Michael Day, and Kyle McCarty; two brothers, Kenny Mullins and Preston Mullins; sisters, Frances Scarbrough, Janet Defoor, and Sandy Miller; nine grandchildren, Lauren Mullins, Allee Clem, Cameron Clem, Jaden Day, Gavin Day, Abby Day, Kialyn McCarty, Karcyn McCarty, and Torianne McCarty; along with a host of extended family and friends.

Mrs. Bettie Muncrief, age 87, died July 20, 1954 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ova Cornelison, at Lebanon, Okla. where she made her home. She suffered a heatstroke and also had been an invalid for several years. She was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.

Mr. Herman Samuel Murders, age 81, of Dardanelle, AR died Thursday, November 13, 1997 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Little Rock. He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church, retired from the railroad, and as the owner of Russellville Overhead Door. He was born May 23, 1916 in Buckville, AR to the late Joseph and Ida Adams Murders.
He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
Survivors include wife, Jewell C. Murders of Dardanelle; four sons and daughters-in-law Herman D. Cathy Murders of Augusta, GA, Steven Murders of Dardanelle, Phillip & Liz Murders of Russellville and Danny and Francis Murders of Pottsville, AR; a sister, Loretta McCellan of Galend Park, TX; also included are 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

DARDANELLE - Seth Murray Murdoch, age 90, of Dardanelle died Monday, November 24, 1986 at Dardanelle Hospital. He was a native of Chickalah, a retired mail carrier, veteran of World War I and a member of Dardanelle Church of Christ.

Robert Jason Murdock, age 30 of Dardanelle, stationed at Ft. Bragg, N. C. died Friday, April 10, 2009 in Athens, Georgia. He was born December 23, 1978 at Long Beach, CA to Bobby David Murdock and Wendy Ruth Schroeder. He was currently on active duty in the U. S. Army, where he achieved many medals and commendations from the Army, Marines, Navy, and Army Reserve.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Murdock and an uncle, John Murdock.
Survivors include his parents, Bob and Wendy Murdock, Dardanelle; maternal grandparents, Arnold and Maybelle Schroeder, Long Beach, CA; a brother, Matt Murdock, Dardanelle; sister and brother-in-law, Jamie and Joseph Brewer, Atkins; numerous aunts, uncles, and other relatives.
