Loy Voden May, age 78, of Bonneville, AR died March 16, 2002 at his home. He was a farmer and a member of the Glendale Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Nadine May of the home; 2 daughters, Linda Sue Pettycord of Waveland, AR Sherry Kay Reeder of Barling, AR; 1 sons, Jerry Don May of Bonneville, AR & Loy Wayne May of Bonneville, AR; 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. May, Mattie Brand

Mrs. Mattie Brand May, age 92, of Danville, died January 11, 1988 at the Yell County Hospital. She was a native of Montgomery Co., a housewife and mother and the daughter of the late Cy and Elizabeth McConnell Brand.

Survivors include three sons, Dewel May, Othel May and Grady May all of Danville; one daughter, Mrs. Lorrene Sides of Danville; 13 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Cornwell Funeral Chapel Thursday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. with Garland Lipe officiating. Interment will be at the Upper Spring Creek Cemetery. May, Oneita Marie Hancock

Oneita Marie Hancock May, 82, of Danville passed away on August 9, 2004 at Chambers Memorial Hospital. She was born on June 3, 1922 at Ranger to the late Joe and Ila Bailey Hancock. She was a retired Federal Employee, member of the Methodist Church, longtime member of the Danville BPW, BPW Woman of the Year in 1992, 50 Year member of Extension Homemakers Club, American Legion Auxiliary, and will be remembered for her many Razorback Quilts and a former correspondent for the Yell County Record.

She was preceded in death by son-in-law, Frankie Pyle; brother, Gerald Wade Hancock and sister, Norma Lee Hancock.

Survivors include her husband of over 62 years, Dewel Lee May of Danville, daughter, Patricia May Pyle of Danville; son and daughter-in-law, Ralph Dewel and Judy May of Elk City, OK; two brothers, Everette O. Othel Leo May, age 84 of Danville, AR died Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at Chambers Memorial Hospital. He was born January 20, 1921 in Bluffton, AR to the late John and Mattie "Dona" Brand May. He was a farmer and retired bus driver for the Danville School District. He was a member of the Danville Free Will Baptist Church and a Free Will Baptist Deacon for 54 years, the Plainview VFW and the American Legion.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Hancock May, a brother, Grady May and a sister, Lorene Sides.

Survivors are two sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Rhonda May, Mike and Angela May, all of Danville a brother, Dewell May of Danville grandchildren Michel May of Russellville, Michael and Dorinda May of Dardanelle, Tiffany May of Ft. Smith, Wendy May of Springdale, T.J. & Cameron May, and Blake Driver all of Danville great grandchildren, Kari Bewley, Morgan May, and Jarrett May all of Dardanelle.

Service was Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Danville with Rev. David Williams officiating. Interment was in Upper Spring Creek Cemetery by Cornwell Funeral Home, Danville. Pallbearers were Blake Driver, T.J. May, Mitch Mobley, Harold Pyle, Kerry Bottoms, and Greg Bottoms. May, Violet Belle Benefield

Mrs. Violet Belle Benefield May, age 97 of Bluffton, AR died Thursday, July 29,1993 at Mitchell Nursing Home in Danville. She was born February 14, 1896 in Bluffton to the late Jack and Elizabeth Stockman Benefield. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors: two daughters, Beatrice Neighbors and Violet "Butterfly" Potter both of Danville; one sister, Dollie Bain of Heavner, OK; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe May and a son, Joseph Leroy May.

Services were July 31 at the Nola Church of Christ. Interment was in Point Lookout Cemetery by Cornwell Funeral Service of Danville. Mr. Ezequiel Maya, age 28, of Danville, AR died Friday, September 26, 1997. He was born September 18, 1969 in Tanquian De Escobedo, S. L. P. Mexico. He was an assistant to the line supervisor at Wayne Poultry in Danville.

Survivors are his wife, Leticia Zumaya Maya; a son, Escott Ezequiel Maya of Danville, AR; a daughter, Ashley Nicole Maya of Danville, AR; his father, Abundio Maya of Tanquian Escobedo S. L. F. Mayben, Mary Virginia (Bice)

Mary Virginia Bice Mayben, age 34, of Memphis, Tenn. was killed Saturday, April 2, in a two car collision in Holly Springs, Mississippi. She was a native of Danville and a member of Grey roads Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. Clarence Mayben, one son, Timothy, and one daughter, Cadra Mayben of the home; her parents, Rev. Jesse and Vera Bice of Danville; three brothers, Loyd Bice and Rickey Bice of Danville, Bill Bice of MO; three sisters, Eula Owens of Ola, Wanda McHale of MO and Mildred Ramey of Danville.

Mayberry, Leon

Leon Mayberry, age 54 of Rover, died Sunday, January 29, 1989 at McClelland Veterans Administration Hospital in Little Rock. He has served in the U. S. Navy and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Fisher-Law Post 8525.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jo Ann Mayberry; three sons, David and Russell Mayberry both of Wing and Michael Mayberry of Nola; one daughter, Miss Stephanie Mayberry of Wing; one step-son, Wally Harkey of Kansas City, MO; his parents, William Mayberry of Wing and Mrs. Ethel Reed Mayberry of Farmersville, CA; one brother, John Mayberry of Wing; three sisters, Miss Louise Mayberry, Mrs. Iva Jean McDaniel and Mrs. Margie Cain of Farmersville, CA and eight grandchildren. Mr. William Mayberry, age 87, of Booneville, AR died Wednesday, April 21, 1999 at the Booneville Hospital. He was born November 16, 1911 in Mt. Ida, AR to the late John and Nellie Meeks Mayberry. He was a logger.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Leon Mayberry and Junior Mayberry and one daughter, Louise Mayberry.

Mrs. Eva Edith Mayer, age 85, of Dardanelle, AR died Saturday, August 24, 1996 at the Dardanelle Nursing Center. She was a member of the Ard Church of Christ, housewife, homemaker and member of the Council Oak Extension Homemakers. She was born October 3, 1910 in Delaware, AR to the late William R. and Lilly Boothe Rollans.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Odie Mayer and one daughter, Velta Faye Mayer.

Survivors include five sons, William Mayer, Lamar, AR, Denver Mayer, Tuscaloosa, AL, James Mayer, Dardanelle, AR, O. J. Mayer, Russellville, AR and Billy Joe Mayer, Dardanelle, AR; two daughters, Sandra Cook, Jonesboro, AR and Linda Jackson, Dardanelle, AR; three sisters, Imogene Deeds, Wanda Barnett and Lilly May Peterson all of Dardanelle; 19 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

James L. Mayer, age 63 of Dardanelle, died Sunday, March 30, 2003 at the Dardanelle Hospital. He was born March 24, 1940 in Danville to the late Oral J. and Eva E. Rollans Mayer. He was a self-employed truck driver, an Army Veteran and a member of the Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, William O. Mayer and O. J. Mayer and one sister, Velta Faye Mayer.

Survivors are his wife of 44 years, Ruby Kendrick Mayer; one son and daughter-in-law, James E. and Sonja Mayer of Atkins, three daughters and son-in-law, Peggy Mayer and LaDonna Mayer, both of Dardanelle, Tammy and Dennis Roper of Dover; two brothers and wives, Denver and Fay Mayer of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Billy Joe and Diane Mayer of Russellville; two sisters and husband, Sandra and Ben Cook of Jonesboro, Georgia, Linda Jackson of Dardanelle; eight grandchildren, Daniel Mayer, Christy, Duston, Brayden and Dyland Johnson, Shawna, Roberta and Chance Anderson; several nephews and nieces; 17 honorary grandchildren. He is survived by, his daughter, Kathy Putman of Danville, AR; two sons, Dwayne Mc Anally of Vilonia, AR and Mike McAnally of Russellville, AR; his special companion, Eunice McAnally of Atkins; a brother, Marvin McAnally of Ola, AR; three sisters, Amy McConnell of Danville, AR, Wanda Buckman of Ola, AR and Emma Gulley of Eucha, OK; a step son, Steve Robinson of Conway, AR; three stepdaughters, Debbie Bell of Russellville, Ginger Edmonson of Paris and Pam Linker of Atkins; eight grandchildren; two great-grandsons; five step grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Marvin Layton McAnally, age 76, a resident of Ola, died Friday, October 1, 2004, at his home. He was born March 3, 1928, at Waltreak, Arkansas to the late John Edward and Lillian Jackson Mc Anally. He was a former long distance truck driver and he attended the Ola Assembly God. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He married Ada Lucille Morris on November 5, 1970, at Danville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Audie, Claudie and Clayton McAnally and two brothers-in-law, James McConnelle and Jimmy Williams.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Lucille McAnally of Ola; his daughter, Sandra Kaye McAnally of Ola; three sisters, Amy Lee McConnell of Danville, Wanda Buckman of Ola, Emma Gulley of Oklahoma; numerous nephews and nieces and other relatives and friends.

Funeral was held October 4, 2004 at the Ola Assembly of God with Rev. Norman Chenowith officiating. Burial in the Ola-Sandlin Cemetery at Ola under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service. DANVILLE - Mary Sue McAnally, age 52, of Danville died Thursday, May 30, 1985. She was the daughter of the late John and Nora Barrett Baskin, and an employee of John John's Restaurant at Danville.

Charles McAnulty, 85, of Russellville passed away Friday, July 12, 2013. The son of Adam and Margie McAnulty, he was born February 7, 1928 in Pope County. He married Ona Faye Roberts on December 23, 1950 and was a United States Army Veteran of Korea. Charles worked as a route saleman for Frito-Lay and was a member of the Harmony Freewill Baptist Church and the River Valley Antique Auto Club. He enjoyed playing his bass guitar at church, antique car restoration and especially spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by parents; and two infant siblings, W.A McAnulty and Eugene McAnulty.

Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Ona Faye McAnulty; daughter, Sherry Carter and husband Ronald of Dardanelle; son, Scott McAnulty of Dover; five grandchildren, Angela Moore and husband John of Dardanelle; Natalie Ruston and husband Roger, Vanessa Holmes and husband Kevin, and Chrissie Cox and husband Ethan, all of Russellville, and Alex McAnulty of Conway; six great grandchildren, Lauren Moore, Carter Ruston, Lillian Ruston, Grant Ruston, Aiden Holmes and Jack Holmes; four brothers, Billy McAnulty and wife Jane of Russellville, Don McAnulty and wife Pam of Russellville, Burl McAnulty, Jr. and wife Bobbie of Dardanelle and Lonnie McAnulty and wife Brenda of Russellville; two sisters, Jane Daniel and the late Kenneth Daniel of Russellville and Linda Smith and the late Johnny Smith of Russellville; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

McAnulty, Iladene (Boen)

Iladene McAnulty, 84, of Russellville, died Friday, June 9, 2017, at Dardanelle Nursing Center. She was born August 25, 1932, in Clarksville to Jess Frank and Mary Edna Dalton Boen. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Russellville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Dane McAnulty; three brothers, Zane Hudson, Leon Hudson, and Lavon Boen; and a sister, Robbie Moore.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Gerald E. McAnulty; two sons and daughters-in-law, Zane and Mary McAnulty of Phenix City, Alabama and Dale and Neletta McAnulty of Dardanelle; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, at the Shinn Chapel. Burial was in Bowden Cemetery on Crow Mountain and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville. William Robert "Bob" McAnulty, age 77, of Russellville died today at St. Mary's Hospital. He was a retired heavy equipment operator, veteran of World War TI, former member of the Pope County Riding Club and was a member of Modern Woodmen of the World.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Illah McAnulty; a brother, James P. McAnulty of Russellville, and a sister, Mrs. Ruby Parks of South Haven, Miss.

Homer G. McArthur of Belleville died in a veteran's hospital on October 16 at the age of 66. He was a veteran of both world wars and a retired chicken farmer.

He is survived by three brothers, Clovis of Belleville, J.C. of Pine Bluff and A.B. of California; and one sister, Mrs. Frank Norton of Denver, Colo.

Mcbride, Adrian G.

Adrian G. McBride, age 74, of Port Isabel, TX and Ardmore, OK. died December 17, 1997 at die Brownsville Medical Center, Brownsville, TX. He was born September 20, 1923 in Havana, AR. to the late Chester and Maude McBride.

He was preceded in dead by a sister, Latane Wright. McBride lived in Port Isabel, TX. since 1989. He retired from Shell Oil Company in 1979 after 27 years of employment. He worked for the State of Oklahoma as a gas and oil inspector and retired in 1989. He was a United States Navy Veteran of World War II where he served aboard the U. S. S. Highlands at Iwo Jima. He landed on the Island of Iwo Jima with the 5th Wave of troops on Red Beach 2. He earned an American Campaign medal as well as two Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Bronze Stars and a Philippines Liberation Ribbon.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene, of Port Isabel, TX and Ardmore, two daughters, Adrianna Bivens of Wellington, CO, and Karen Erenfeld of Denver, CO; one son, Steven McBride of Ardmore, OK; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson; a sister, Sue Low, of Danville, AR and Port Isabel, TX, and a brother, Ernest Carpenter, Winston-Salem, NC

Survivors include her husband, Wayne McBride; two sons, Guinn McBride of Havana and Lawayne McBride of Jackson, Tenn.; two daughters, Mrs. Hilton Gant of Nashville, and Miss Dolores McBride of Hope; one sister, Mrs. Anna Mae George of Dardanelle; 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Havana Church of Christ Friday afternoon at 2 pm with Jim Barham officiating. Interment was at the Havana Cemetery.
