Roxie Lorene Reed Glosup, died March 26, 2000 in an automobile accident. She was born May 29, 1923 to the late Jim and Hattie Barrows) Reed. She was a member of Chickasaw Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Glosup, her parents, two brothers, Roy and Odell Reed and two sisters, Ola Summitt and Idell Gallion.
She is survived by, one daughter, Judy Warrick; two sons, Micky Bunting and Wendell Glosup; two step daughters, Bennie Ruth Foster and Helen Christmas; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; five brothers, Herbert, Rev. Jesse, Ruben, Carl and Billy Reed; one sister, Lena Wehunt and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral service was held at Chickasaw Baptist Church, March 28, 2000 with Bro. George Waldrup officiating. Burial was in Scott Cemetery at Winchester, AR. Nephews served as pallbearers. Billie Joe Glover, age 71, of Gravelly, AR, formerly of Benton, AR, died April 23, 2004 at St. Vincent's Infirmary in Little Rock, AR. He was born November 4, 1932 in Curtis, AR to the late Jewell Edgar Glover and Eather Fay French Hagen. He retired December 31, 1990 from Alcoa in Benton, AR as a sheet metal journeyman after 25 years of employment. He served in the United States Air Force and was in the Korean War. He was a member of the Congo Masonic Lodge and a member of the Nola Church of Christ. He was devoted to his family and an avid golfer.
He was preceded m death by two brothers, Wayne Eagar Glover and James Elton Glover and two brothers-in-law, R. W. Wetherington and Robert Hancock.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mamie Wagner Glover; a son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Krista Glover of Benton, AR; grandsons, Kacy and Christopher Glover both of Benton, AR; sisters, Margurite Wetherington of Bismarck, AR and LaVerne Hancock of DeQueen, AR; a brother, Jimmy "Butch" Glover of Little Rock, AR; sister-in-law, Jean Glover of Benton, AR; brothers and sisters-in-law, Roy and Robbie Fickle and J. B. and Mary Wagner of Gravelly and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral was April 26, 2004 at the Nola Church of Christ with Bro. Leonard Fuson officiating. Interment was in Parks Cemetery, Nola under the direction of Cornwell Funeral Home of Danville. Mamie Wagner Glover, 76, of Gravelly, AR, formerly of Benton, AR, died Friday, June 24, at Benton, Arkansas. She was born March 7, 1935, in Nola, Arkansas to Lester and Ala Mae Jones Wagner. Mamie was a member of the 1952 Fourche Valley graduating class. She worked for American Airlines, Sears, Magic Mart/Sterling Stores before retiring from the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration. She was a member of the Nola Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Billie Joe Glover, her parents, a sister and brother-in-law, Robbie and Roy Fickle, and her nephew, Mark Wagner.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Krista Glover of Benton; a granddaughter, Kacy Platt and husband, Franklin, of Fort Worth, Texas; a grandson, Christopher Glover of Benton, AR; brother and sister-in-law, J.B. and Margaret Wagner of Gravelly; and many nieces and nephews. The family extends a special thank you to her niece, Katie Fickle, for helping take care of Aunt Mamie over the last several years.

Rebecca Kaylin "Becca" Goates, 12, of Mabelvale died Friday in Mabelvale. She attended Fuller Middle School, was a member of Paws and Claws of the Pulaski County Humane Society. She was a member of the Youth Group at Ironton Baptist Church and Falling Water Church.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Cecil "Bob Haralson, Lester and Katherine Trew, Raymond Hudlow, Eugene Goates, Grady Kinslow, and Artie Kinslow.

Mrs. Jimmie Lou Emma Gober, 96, of Monticello, a native of Yell County, died Wednesday, September 25, at Drew Memorial Hospital. She was the widow of Wade H. Gober Sr.

Mrs. Ora Godbey, age 94, of Atkins, AR, died Saturday, November 29, 1997 at St. Mary's Hospital in Russellville, AR. She was born in Pope County, daughter of die late John H. and Lettie Ashley Gamble. She was a retired Dorm Mother at Arkansas Tech. She was a member of Atkins 1st Baptist Church and Atkins American Legion Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wyle Godbey, Sr. son, Wyle Godbey, Jr. and a grandson, Phil Woodson.

Baby Dies In Vehicle Accident - Kelvin Godinez, five months old, was killed in a head-on collision on Suday evening on Highway 27 south of Dardanelle.
The fatality occurred at about 6:00 p. m. when a 2000 Chevy Lumina, driven by Elpido Godinez, 19, of Havana, going south on Highway 27, collided with a 1999 Chevy Tahoe driven by Darrell Roberts, 21 of Dardanelle. The Godinez vehicle carried another passenger, Aneli Marquillo, 19, of Havana, and the Roberts vehicle carried two, Alicia Malone, age unknown, and Keaton Roberts, 17 months. Godinez and Marquillo were both taken to UAMS, Little Rock, with serious injuries. The Roberts child was taken to Arkansas Childrens Hospital, while Roberts and Malone were initially transported to Chambers Memorial Hospital, and later taken to UAMS. According to Investigating Officer, Arkansas State Trooper Roby Rhoads, the Roberts vehicle crossed over the center line striking the Godinez vehicle head on. Also working the accident were members of the Dardanelle Rescue, Dardanelle Rural Fire Department, Dardanelle Police Department, and Yell County EMS. Several Deputies from the Yell County Sheriff s Department were on scene to assist with the rescue efforts. Charley Goff, aged 75, of Waveland died at his home Monday, August 24. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Pansy; one brother, Odell Goff of San Bernardino, Calif.; and two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Stevens of Cape Girardeau, Mo. and Mrs. Essie Davidson of Heber Springs.

David Allen Goff, age 57, of Casa died Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at the VA Hospital. He was born February 14, 1954 at El Paso, Texas to Otis Allen and Lawanda Marie Wheisnant Goff.

Lois Goines, 83, of Fort Smith, died September 9, 2012 in Fort Smith. She was born August 15, 1929, in Scott County, AR to S.R. and Annie Bee Outlaw Solley. She was a housewife and of the Pentecostal faith.
She is survived by her husband, Fred, of the home; a daughter, Linda Orf, of Fort Smith; two brothers, Bob Solley, of Plainview, AR and Tony Solley, of Bluffton, AR; two sisters, Betty Young, of Mexico and Kate Metcalf, of Plainview, AR; two grandsons, Chris Orf and Jeffrey Goines and one great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by a son, Bill Goines and a grandson, Justin Goines.

Charley Goins, 82, died early Friday in a Muskogee hospital. Born September 16, 1886, in Arkansas, Goins had lived in Checotah 46 years.
Funeral services were held at the Smith Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. John Moreland officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery under direction at the Smith Funeral Home.

Neal William Goins, age 81 of Dardanelle, died Saturday, March 21, 2009 at his home. He was born March 31, 1927 at Dickenson, ND to the late Neal Boring and Evelyn Hall Goins. He was a WWII Army Veteran, Boy Scouts of America (Silver Beaver Award) for 43 years, and started Boy Scouts of America Troop #221 in Dardanelle.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Barbara Goins of Dardanelle; two children, Gail Goins and Ernest Goins of Dardanelle; brother, Hubert Goins of Berryville; sister, Mary Ann Weldon of Owasso, OK; grandson, Andrew Neal Goins of Montclair, NJ; several nieces and nephews.

GOINS, Patrina "Pat" Kelley, 86 passed away March 5th in Oklahoma City. She was born of Irish descent on St. Patrick's Day March 17, 1918 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Bob and Dell Kelley. She graduated from U.S.A.O. in Chickasha and also received a degree from O.U. She was an educator at the college level.
She married William Roscoe Goins who preceded her in death in 1986. She was a longtime member of the Baptist Temple where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Emily Ann Goins and a son William Jerome Goins.
She is survived by her cousins, Kaye Hicks and husband Jim of Edmond, OK, and January Hinesley & husband, Dick, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma as well as other cousins, family and a multitude of friends.

August 4, 1928 - February 12, 2012 Raymond Eugene "Gene" Goins, 83, of Fort Smith, died February 12, 2012 in Fort Smith. He was born August 4th, 1928 the youngest of nine children along with twin sister Alyene, in Hackett, AR to Marshall and Amy Nita Fowler Goins. He was the Founder of Goins Statewide Furniture, Inc which fulfilled his love of the furniture business, and his dream of owning and successfully operating his own store for thirty-eight years, and he was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fort Smith. "Gene loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. For many years a quail hunt on Thanksgiving morning was a family tradition." In later years he really enjoyed annual fishing trips with his sons to the remote mountain lakes of Western Mexico and the rivers of the Amazon Basin in Brazil." He was one of those rare people who was truly happy in life, but above all else, Gene loved his family and cherished the occasions when they were together.
He is survived by his wife Jo Ann of the Home; one daughter, Ruth A. Brewer and husband Hugh Rice Brewer, Sr. of Fort Smith; two sons, Randall W. and Janie Wenderoth Goins of Fort Smith and Richard A. and wife Dana Goins of Fort Smith; one sister, Alyene Gasaway of Prescott, AZ; and eight grandchildren, R. Trenton Goins and wife Megan of Fort Smith, Aimee Goins Miskov and husband Jonathan M. Miskov and their daughter Madison of St. Louis, MO., Ryan A. Goins of Dallas, TX., Taylor P. Ronald Eugene Goins was born March 16, 1957, in Fort Smith and died Sunday, March 26, 2006. He graduated from Southside High School. He accomplished his undergraduate work at Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, where he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in business management in May 1979. In December 1981, he received juris doctorate from the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville. After joining the Oklahoma Bar Association he accepted a position with the firm of Holliman, Langholz, Runnels and Dorwart. In 1993 Ron and his partner Neal Tomlins founded Tomlins & Goins Law Firm in Tulsa. Ron was active in the scholastic and athletic lives of his children, attending and volunteering at their basketball and hockey games. While his children participated in high school speech and debate, he offered his time and insight and often judge rounds at tournaments. He actively sought out the best possible learning experiences and education for his children. Ron was a Civil War aficionado, and enjoyed reading about the history of the United States. He was an avid golfer, a passion he shared with his wife.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Catherine, as well as a daughter, Emily, and a son, Robert, all of Broken Arrow, Okla. He is also survived by his parents, Gene and JoAnn Goins of Fort Smith; his mother-in-law, Eleanor McCann of Fort Smith; his sister, Ruth Brewer of Fort Smith; and two brothers, Randall and Richard, both of Fort Smith.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2006, at the First Presbyterian Church in Tulsa. Shirley Anne Goins, 88 of Hackett, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2013 in Fort Smith. She was born August 25, 1925 in Escondido, CA to the late Eugene Adrian Bates and Mildred Ruth Warren Bates. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Hackett where she taught Sunday school and played the piano. She was retired from Gerber. She loved reading, traveling, humming birds, and her dogs.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband A.B. Goins, her son Michael Goins, her sister Jean Knapp, and her brother Walter Eugene Bates.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, October 17, 2013 at the Fort Smith National Cemetery. Arrangements and cremation is under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.

Tuesday, Bill Merritt Chapel, Bethany, with interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Jerry graduated from Northwest Classen in 1967, completed his BBA and MBA at Central State University. He was an accomplished pianist, studied voice with John Platt and sang with Northwest Classen Boy's Chorus. At CSU he was a member of both the Marketing and Management Clubs, Alpha Beta Alpha and B.S.U. His church membership was with Village Baptist where he participated with the singles group. Memorials may be made to either Village or Trinity Baptist Church.

Clifton G. "Tip" Golden, age 87 of Ola, died Saturday, December 22, 2001, at St. Anthony's Hospital in Morrilton. He was born April 6, 1914, in Tampa, Florida to the late Robert R. and Mattie Crenshaw Golden. He was a retired ironworker in the construction industry. He was a member of the Ola First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Golden and two sons, Freddie Golden and C. J. Golden.

Mrs. Mary Lou Goltry, age 75, of Danville died Saturday, September 2, 1989 at the AMI St. Marys Regional Medical Center in Russellville, She was a native of Rover, AR, daughter of the late Daniel Ralph and Mary Jane Harris, widow of the late Charles C. Goltry. She lives most of her adult life in Muskogee, OK having lived the last one and one-half years in Danville. She was a Christian and very active in her church until her confining illness. She was a retired medical secretary from the Muskogee Medical Center.
Survivors include one daughter, Marilyn Forlenza of Danville; one brother, Lathell Harris of Amarillo, TX; three sisters, Wave Chitwood of Little Rock, Maxine Countz of Ola and Virginia Ford of Rover; four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild and a host of nieces and. nephews.
