Sherman "Sonny" Durham, age 83, of Morrilton, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017. He was born July 26, 1934, in Plumerville, Arkansas, a son of the late Barney Durham, and Juanita Crochett Durham. He was an auctioneer and of the Baptist faith. He was co-owner/operator of Morrilton Livestock Auction for 40 years.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Elder Durham of Morrilton; two daughters, Dana (John) Ellison of Knoxville, Tennessee, Delores (Greg) Fairchild of Maumelle; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Roach of North Little Rock, and Jo Brown of Mentor, Ohio.
Funeral services were held 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 6, at the Harris Chapel with Dr. Bill Brown officiating. Private burial will be at Plumerville Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. Dennis H. Duryea, 92, of Russellville, died Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. He was born September 29, 1918, near Belleville in the Corinth Community, to James and Amma Sanders Duryea. He was an employee of International Shoe Company for almost 30 years, and was a United States Army veteran of World War II. He grew up as a Lutheran, and attended the Methodist Church and the Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Luther Marbury; and a grandson, Bill Bailey.
Survivors include his wife of 74 years, Lula Duryea; three sons and daughters-in-law, James and Jeanne Duryea of Atkins, Dennis and Janet Duryea of Russellville, and David and Betty Duryea of Pottsville; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Erma Cotton, Janie and Chuck Frankhouse and Judy and Jim Bailey, all of Russellville; a brother-in-law and three sisters-in-law, Charles and Rita Greenlee of Maumelle, Maggie Findley of Russellville, and Betty Scott of Texas; 13 grandchildren, Kenneth Ray Cotton, Jr., Nikki Cotton Duncan, Dennis Gene Duryea, Mary Ann Parks, Michelle Lea Gilleran, Melissa Gail Belz, Sandi Ratliff, Danny Wade, Sarah Wood, Jimmy Bailey, Jonathan Bailey, Jamie Lee Stafford, and Rhonda Kay Greenfield; 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was Saturday, July 16, 2011, at the Shinn Chapel, officiated by Rev. Don Erwin. Military honors following the service provided by the Rogers-Rye Veterans of Foreign Wars Post # 2283. Lula Grady Duryea, 93, of Russellville, died Sunday, January 5, 2014. She was born August 24, 1920, in Yell County, to Silas E. and Nannie M. Wilson Grady. She was a Baptist, and a former cafeteria manager at Oakland Heights Elementary School. She loved her grandchildren, and loved to crochet and decorate cakes.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Oscar Greenlee; her husband, Dennis H. Duryea; and a grandson, Bill Bailey.

DARDANELLE - Mrs. Elvenia M. Dusek, age 88, of Dardanelle died Wednesday, April 24, 1985, at Dardanelle Nursing Center. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lucille Szabo of New Hyde Park, N. Y.; two brothers, Edward and Victor Wesley of Dardanelle; a granddaughter, Mrs. Frances Spagnoletti of San Antonio, Texas, and two great-granddaughters.

The Rev. Don Daniel DuVall, age 52, of Sallisaw, Okla. a former resident of Pope and Yell counties, died Tuesday, January 10, 1984 at Sallisaw. He was pastor of Oak Ridge Assembly of God Church at Sallisaw, and was a former pastor of First Assembly of God churches at Dardanelle and Atkins.

James M. DuVall, age 60, of Dardanelle died Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at Saint Mary's Hospital. He was born December 30, 1944 at Atkins to the late Elmer Newton and Mary Elior DuVall. He retired after 30 years as a USDA Inspector, he was also a Real Estate Investor and a U.S. Army Veteran.
He is preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Lee DuVall and a sister, Margie Irwin.

She was preceded in death by her father, Melton Craft and her grandparents, Bessie and Edgar Parks, lifetime residents of Havana and Waveland, AR.

Ottis C. Eakes age 71, of Dardanelle, died Thursday, August 7, 1986 at Russellville. He was a retired insurance agent, son of the late C. K. and Zora Dailey Eakes and a veteran of WWII.
He is survived by his wife Mary Lou Rutledge Eakes; two daughters, Donna Little of Little Rock and Virginia Young of Dardanelle; one sister, Nellie Mars of Paris; two brothers, Mansfield Eakes and Wilburn Eakes of Atkins; five grandchildren.

Ottis C. Eakes age 71, of Dardanelle, died Thursday, August 7, 1986 at Russellville. He was a retired insurance agent, son of the late C. K. and Zora Dailey Eakes and a veteran of WWII.
He is survived by his wife Mary Lou Rutledge Eakes; two daughters, Donna Little of Little Rock and Virginia Young of Dardanelle; one sister, Nellie Mars of Paris; two brothers, Mansfield Eakes and Wilburn Eakes of Atkins; five grandchildren.

Mrs. Addie Pearl Earls, aged 79, of Havana died Saturday. She was a native of Waveland, the widow of Grant Earls and a member of the Havana Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include three sons, Jack Earls of Oklahoma, Bill and Henry Earls of Havana; five daughters, Mrs. Sybil Ross and Mrs. Lucille Barasada, both of California.
