The daughter of Samuel and Rosie (Walker) Lane, she was born February 18, 1915 in Belleville, AR. She was a member of the Fair Park Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Zack "Bud" Dennis; her parents; two brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include 2 sons, Randy Dennis and wife, Donna of North Little Rock, AR; Gary Dennis and wife, Kathy of Louisville, KY; 8 grandchildren.
Funeral was Saturday, June 7, 2003 at Fair Park Baptist Church with Rev, Rick Ballentine and Rev. Chuck Sanders officiating. SHERWOOD - Harold F. Dennis, age 54, of Sherwood, a native of Chickalah, died Tuesday, January 13, 1987. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Church of Christ.

Leroy Taylor Dennis, age 72, of Danville, AR. died Saturday, January 2, 1999 at his home. He was born January 12, 1926 to the late Taylor and Ruby Kennon Dennis. He was a disabled World War II Army Veteran and a Jehovah's Witness.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Dennis.

Mrs. Lillian Rogers Dennis, age 67, of Dardanelle died Monday, February 17, 1992 at her home. She was a retired nurses aide, daughter of the late Merrell and Audrey May Williams Rogers, and a member of the Dardanelle Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by a son, David Dennis.

Roy Allon Dennis, age 79, of Dardanelle died Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at River Valley Medical Center. He was born September 20, 1935 at Gum Springs Community to the late Allen and Mollie Earls Dennis. He was a member of the Dardanelle Church of Christ and loved to go hunting, fishing and to spend time with his granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, Stephen Walker.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Nelda Walker Dennis of Dardanelle; two sons, Gary Dennis of Russellville, Larry Dennis and wife Theresa of Dardanelle; one brother-in-law, Jack Walker of Dardanelle; six grandchildren, Macey, Kelcie, Chrysta, McKenna, Bridget and Kilea.

She was a teacher, homemaker and was affiliated with the Summitt Baptist Church. She graduated high school in Denver, CO and graduated from West Texas State University with a BA and was a volunteer at the Amarillo nursing center.

John Laymon Denton, age 51, died at the City Hospital in Sapulpa, Okla. on December 15, 1956. He was born at Danville and spent his early life in Yell County attending schools in Dutch Creek and Belleville. He united with the Methodist Church in Belleville at an early age. He also was a Mason. He was married to Miss Ruby Fergeson of Belleville in 1925, both of them teaching schools near Belleville until they moved to Oklahoma in 1928.

Lillian Brand Derrick, age 83, of Belleville, AR died Friday, May 22, 1998 at St. Mary's Hospital in Russellville. She was born May 12, 1915 in Gafford Creek, near Bluffton, Yell County, Arkansas, to the late Daniel Alfred and Martha Lou "Dovie" Teague Brand. She was an artist, wife, mother, grandmother, and a member of Dr. John Grace Memorial Baptist Church in Belleville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Derrick and a sister, Flora Brand.
She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Randell of Mustang, OK and Mary Lou Chaney of Crossett, AR; a sister, Ruby Brock of Heber Springs, AR; seven grandchildren, Johnny Randell of Wheatland, OK, Karen Randell of Del City, OK, James Randell of Bethany, OK, Steve Randell and Linden Randell both of Mustang, OK; Robert Chaney of Salt Lake City, Utah and Brian Chaney of Crossett, AR.

Lionel Derrick, age 82, of Danville died Saturday, August 30 at River Valley Medical Center in Dardanelle. He was born September 16, 1931 in Chickalah to the late Jack and Lula Derick. He retired after 28 years from Firestone in Russellville. He was a farmer and a member of the Ranger Freewill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Mike Derrick, brothers, Frances Derrick and a sister, Jacquetta Gaydon.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Faye Biggs Derrick of Danville; daughter and son-in-law, Doris and Danny King of Plainview, 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Briant "Bruno" and Karen Derrick of Heber Springs; Tony and Sherry Derrick of Danville; daughter-in-law, Dana Derrick of Plummerville. Grandchildren, Heather and David Drilling, Nikki and James O'Bryant, Brett and Samantha Kilgore, Ben and Kayla Derrick, Hunter Derrick, Katelyn Derrick and Wesley Derrick, great-grandchildren, Morgan Dunnam, Kristin Smith, Jack Drilling, Ben Drilling, Chloe Kilgore and Bryce Kilgore; brother, Parnell Derrick of Little Rock; sisters Junella Estes of Stockton, CA; Jackie Lowe of Paris.

Mrs. Lula Lee Derrick, 74, of Ranger, died at the Yell County Hospital July 31. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was a long time correspondent for the Yell County Record.
Survivors include three sons, Francis and Lionel of Belleville Rt., and Harvey Parnell of Little Rock; three daughters, Mrs. Jacquetta Gaydon and Mrs. Junella Estes, both of California, and Mrs. Jacqueline Lowe of Paris; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Heffington of Texas and Mrs. Viola Britt of Sand Springs, Okla.; 17 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Michael "Mike" Lionel Derrick, age 55, of Plumerville, passed away December 2, 2012. He was born February 22, 1957 in Danville, Arkansas, a son of Lionel Derrick and Faye Biggs Derrick. He worked at Hixon Lumber and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Dana R. Modene Derrick, age 82, of Danville, AR died Friday at St. Mary's Hospital in Russellville, AR. She was born January 1, 1924 in Wild Cat Hollow to Jim and Minnie Erie Drewery Parsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Francis Derrick and four brothers, Junior, Clarence, G. H. and infant J. C. Parsons.

She was an employee of Arkansas Tech University for 22 years and a member and former Sunday School teacher at Robinson Point Church at Dardanelle.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Dolen Detrick.

Rolen Detrick, age 82, a resident of Russellville, AR died Wednesday, January 24, 2007, at his home. He was born June 25, 1924, in Yell County to Joseph Si and Ola Mae Turner Detrick. He was a truck driver and of the Assembly of God faith. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by a son, Dolen Detrick; a daughter, Janet Detrick; two brothers, Olen Detrick and Johnny Detrick; and a sister and brother-in-law, Angia Lee and Jack Selby.

He loved working on cars, driving his truck and four-wheeler, listening to music, making people laugh and getting ready for the birth of his 1st child, a son.
