Marie Brake, 89, of Charleston, AR died July 17, 2009 in Ft. Smith, AR.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Smith and Eva Clement Smith; a brother, Bud Smith; husbands, Julius (Bud) Heinmiller and Amos Brake; grandsons, Gearold and Randy Parks.

She is survived by daughters, Helen and husband, Gary Parks of Melcher, IA, Melinda and husband, Bobby Irby of Magazine, AR, Teresa and husband, Chris Wilson of Singleton, TX; one son, David and wife, Cherie Heinmiller of Roans Prairie, TX; one stepdaughter, Jayne Talley of Sherman, TX; six grandchildren, Doug Parks, Michael, Steven and Bradley Irby, Matthew Shaddon, and Chase Wilson; four great-grandchildren, Abby and Josh Parks, Seth Wilson, and Macie Irby, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bramlett, Margaret "Pauline"

Margaret "Pauline" Bramlett, age 94, of Prairie Grove, AR died Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Prairie Grove Health & Rehab. She was born August 16, 1913 at Tolu, Kentucky, the daughter of James Coleman & Alma Jacobs Minner. She was an employee of the University of Arkansas & a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Bramlett, twin sister Irene Williams & two great-great-grandchildren Abagayle & Gauge James.

She is survived by, a daughter, Bobbie Jean Harris of Fayetteville; six grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Brancecum, Joshua Lee

DARDANELLE - Joshua Lee Brancecum, 15-day-old son of Angela Brancecum of Dardanelle and Roy Mills of Mount George, died Sunday, June 16, 1985, at Children's Hospital at Little Rock.

Survivors also include maternal grandparents, Mrs. David Cossey of Dardanelle and David Brancecum of Osceola; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Mills of Mount George; maternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Martin of Dardanelle and Mr. and Mrs. Winfred Brancecum of Osceola; paternal great-grandparents, David and Gertie Burt of Soldnada, Alaska, and great-great-grandparents, Mae Thomas of St. Charles, Mich. Branch, Grace

The death angel visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Branch, Chickalah, March 8 and took from them their darling daughter, Grace, age 15 year 13 days. The cause of death was appendicitis.

She is survived by her parents, one brother, Sonnie, one sister, Betty Lou, two grandmothers and a host of aunts and uncles. The body was laid to rest in Mtn. Spring Cemetery, March 10.

Helon Hale Branch, age 90, of Russellville, died Thursday, July 7, 2005 at Legacy Lodge Nursing Center. She was born September 25, 1914 at Scottsville, AR to the late Tolbert & Lou Ross Hale.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Harl R. Branch a brother, Thomas Hale and sister, Lucille Ford.

Survivors are a daughter and son-in-law, Gana and John Milham of Houston, TX a brother, James Hale of Russellville two grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.

Branch, James Thomas

James Thomas Branch, age 77, passed away May 12, 2009 in Tulsa, OK. He was born January 23, 1923 in Little Rock, AR the son of William Matthew Branch, Jr. and Elma Mary Branch. He lived in Plainview, AR and moved to Owasso, OK in October 2007 where his daughter resides. He was a member of the Hilltop Church of God in Plainview for over 20 years. The Hilltop Church of God was established in 1951 when his father donated the land for the church. He played a vital role in getting the church built and the community spent many hours raising money for the church. He played the piano for over 7 years each Sunday and a plaque still sits over the piano dedicating the piano in his name for his many years of service to the church. He loved nature, animals and all the beauty created by God. He married Bonnie Lou Cunningham Branch on January 20, 1956 and later divorced. He was a loving father and a wonderful friend to many. He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by four children, Cindy Andrews of Alexander, AR, Cathy Deases of Owasso, OK, Steve Branch of Plainview, AR and David Branch of Gilbert, AZ; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren which he loved dearly; sisters, Marjorie Elma Asbury of Lake Forrest, IL, Mary Alyce Brown of Bentonville, AR; one brother, William Matthew Branch III of Perryville, AR; eight nieces and two nephews.

Joseph Sidney Branch, age 73, of Paris died Wednesday afternoon, June 20, at the Dardanelle Hospital. He was a retired Freewill Baptist Minister, a native of Stafford Community, the son of the late John and Ada Horn Branch and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nettie Anderson Branch; two sons, Loyd Branch of Paris, Billy Branch of the West Coast; and one daughter, Miss Marion Branch of the West Coast; three sisters, Mrs. Nora McClanahan of Porterville, CA, Mrs. Mattie Morrison and Mrs. Eva Burries of Norman, OK and several grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Upper Spring Creek Freewill Baptist Church Friday morning at 10 o clock with the Rev. Autry Davis, and the Rev. David King officiating. Nettie Helen Branch, age 83 of Paris, died Sunday, August 21, 2005 at Paris Health and Rehab Center. She was born July 17, 1922 at Clearwater, KS to the late Gus and Claudia Sides Anderson. She was a member of the Upper Spring Creek Freewill Baptist Church in Belleville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.S. "Bud Branch and a son, Sidney Louis Branch.

Survivors are one son and daughter-in-law, Lloyd and Betty Branch of Subiaco a granddaughter, Molly Branch of Subiaco and several cousins.

Branch, William (Bill)

William (Bill) Branch, 80, of Perryville died Friday, April 16, 2010. He was born in Huntley, Montana July 24th, 1929, son of the late William and Elma Mead Branch. He served in the Army during the Korean War and worked for Perkins Sprinkler Company for 45 years.

He was preceded in death by a brother Tom Branch.

Survivors are one son, Alan Branch; two daughters, Carin Sloss (Jerry), Lori Owens (Aubrey); two sisters, Marjorie Ashbury and Mary Alice Brown (Bill); four grandsons, Brad Bull (Rachel), Alex Crowder (Andrea), Tim Crowder (Jessica) and Rob Hotchkiss (Beth); one granddaughter, Stephanie Rhoads; eleven great-grandchildren; the mother of his children Jane Aldridge; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Sassy.

Burial was at Carter Cove Cemetery Tuesday by Harris Funeral Home of Perryville. Pallbearers were grandsons and nephews. Christine Branham, Age 68 of Belleville, died Wednesday at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock, AR. She was born in Blue Ball, AR on June 1, 1936. She was the daughter of the late Clifton and Leona Garner Millard. She was a Meme to the children at Meme's childcare in Belleville.

She was preceded in death by sisters, Patty Millard, Sandy Millard and Odessa Cravens Massey and a brother, James "Blue Millard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Brannam and a daughter, Beatrice Parrish.

Survivors are wife of 58 years, Jimmie Anderson Brannon; a brother, Shirley Brannon of Mt. View, AR; sister, Oleta Roberson of Judsonia, AR and several nieces and nephews.

Service was Sunday, November 2 at Hunts Chapel in Rover, AR by Rev. True Fitch. Interment was in the Hunts Chapel Cemetery by Cornwell Funeral Home of Danville. Pallbearers were Larry White, Sam Eden, Reno Romanin, Donnie Emerson, Charles Anderson and Jerry Foster. Brannon, Noble E.

Mr. Noble E. Brannon, age 82, of Rover, Yell County, Arkansas died Saturday, November 1, 1997. He was born December 23, 1914 in Floral, AR to the late William and Matie Blankenship Brannon. He was retired from North American Aircraft, a member of Queen Beach Masonic Lodge in Long Beach, CA and a member of the Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Garland Brannon; two sisters Wincle Vickers and Parnell Roberson.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Jimmie Anderson Brannon; a brother, Shirley Brannon of Mt. View, AR; a sister, Oleta Roberson of Judsonia, AR and several nephews and nieces.

Services were November 2, 1997 at the Hunt's Chapel in Rover, AR by Rev. True Fitch. Interment was in the Hunt's Chapel Cemetery by Cornwell Funeral Home of Danville, AR. Branson, Mary Magiedelina (Hunt)

Mrs. Mary Magiedelina Branson, 71, died June 22 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. P.M. Graham, Ft. Smith.

She is survived by her husband, G.N. Branson, Kenwood, Okla.; two children, Mrs. P.M. Graham, Ft. Smith; and Floyd Duncan, Coachvilla, California; three brothers and one sister, Tom and Austin Hunt, Rover; M.A. Hunt, Los Angles, California; and Mrs. Joe Biglow, Chilloeothe, Missouri.

The funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, June 24, at 2 o'clock, at the Hunt Chapel Cemetery, Rover, Rev. Virgil Hanks, Methodist Minister, Plainview, was in charge of the service. Brantley, Hattie Mae (Randall)

Mrs. Hattie Brantley, 66, of Humphrey died June 1 in a Stuttgart hospital. She lived several years near Danville. She was a Baptist.

Survivors include her husband. A.E.; one daughter, Stellanae Kuklenski, of Indiana; one brother, Pete Randall, of Danville; two sisters, Mrs. Kate Vestal of Danville and Mrs. Clara Humphrey of California; and seven grandchildren.

Brantley, Vicki Suggs

Vicki Suggs Brantley, age 56, of Alanson, MI, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 21, 2007. She was born in Russellville, AR on November 6, 1951 to C. E. and Wanda Suggs and was raised from an early age by her step-mother Hermonyne Suggs. She graduated from Fuller High School and entered school to become an X-ray technician and worked in this field for more than 20 years. She married David Brantley in July 1975. He became a full-time senior pastor in 1981 and she assumed the role of first lady in three churches. She did medical transcriptions for more than 12 years in the Petoskey area.

She was preceded in death by her parents and step-mother and a brother, Harold Suggs.

She is survived by her husband, David; a daughter and son-in-law, Chelsea and Luke Nixon of Bourbonnais, IL; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Edie and Chris Hedge of College Station, TX; step son, David II of Nashville, TN; four grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Bill Dickey of Belleville, AR; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Donna Suggs of Belleville, AR and Randy and Linda Suggs of Little Rock, AR; several nieces, nephews and other family and a host of other brothers and sisters in Christ, along with her Alanson Church of the Nazarene family.

Funeral service was November 26 at the Alanson church of the Nazarene in Alanson, MI. Interment was in Forest City, AR on November 29m. Arrangements by Stone Funeral Home in Petoskey. Brasher, Grace E. (Hunnicutt) Mitchell

Grace E. Mitchell-Brasher, 90, of Gravelly, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Saturday July 28, 2012 at Mitchell Nursing Home in Danville, Arkansas. She was a loving mother, grandmother and a wonderful Godly woman.

Grace is survived by one daughter, Norma and husband Rod Rupe of Gravelly, AR; two grandchildren, David and wife Melissa Rupe of Prairie Grove, AR, Teresa Bourns of Atkins, AR; seven great grandchildren, Autumn, Alyssa and Corbin Rupe, Juliana and Lauren Bourns, Tyress and Hannah Watkins; one sister, Lil Robinson of Little Rock, AR; one step- daughter, Loretta Watkins of Greenwood, AR; two step great grandchildren, Wyatt and wife Debra Watkins of Tonitown, AR and Laura Watkins of Ft. Smith, AR and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Norman Mitchell and second husband, Jeff Brasher; four brothers, Paul, Opal, Oral and Odas Hunnicutt and one sister Beulah Ball.

Funeral service was July 31, 2012 at Gravelly Methodist Church with burial in the Parks Cemetery at Nola under the direction of Martin Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Phillip Robinson, Mike Robinson, Alan Hunnicutt, Kent Hunnicutt, Randy Hunnicutt, Bill Hunnicutt, Tyras Hale and Wyatt Watkins. Jeff H. Brasher, 91, of Gravelly passed away Friday, May 18, 2007, in a Waldron nursing home. He was a carpenter and a Methodist by faith.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2007, at the Parks Methodist Church with interment at Hawkins Cemetery under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Grace Brasher of the home; one daughter, Loretta Watkins of Greenwood; one step-daughter, Norma Rupe and husband Rod of Gravelly; four grandchildren, Wyatt Watkins and wife Deborah, Laura Watkins, David and Mellisa Rupe, and Teresa and Jeff Bourns; five great-grandchildren, Ty Hale, Hannah Hawkins, Autumn and Alyssa Rupe and Juliana Bourns; Aunt Tempie Hawkins of Waldron; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Lawrence "Kid" Brasher, 87, of Waveland, died Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at St. Edwards Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith. The son of William and Gertrude Weldon Brasher, he was born November 20, 1926 in Fort Smith. He was a Farmer and was a member of the Danville Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Billie Louise Brasher; a brother, William Brasher; sister, Vida Pearl Davis.

Brasher, Thelma Marie (Chappell)

Thelma Marie Brasher, age 95, of Havana passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at Mitchell's Nursing Home. She was born July 3, 1922, in Havana, Arkansas to the late Henry & Ruth Robbins Chappell. She was a member of the Waveland Church of Christ. She was retired from Wolverine Toy Factory and she was a retired poultry farmer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Hermon, Hoyt, and J.W. Chappell; sisters, Gerry Murdock, Lillian Mounts and Johnnie Tapp; great-granddaughter, Bella Ann Boyce; father of her children, William "Bill" Brasher.

Survivors include her children, Denny & Patty Brasher of Booneville; Dearl & Sandra Brasher of Waveland; Thelma Brasher of Lavaca; sisters, Imogene Lowery of Havana; Helen James of Russellville; ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Walter G. Brasher, 75, Little Rock died Saturday in a Little Rock nursing home. He was a retired insurance agent and former county clerk of Yell County. Mr. Brasher was a member of the 2 Baptist church, Little Rock. He was a native of Dardanelle and had lived in Little Rock for 30 years.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. E. O. Ragland, Dardanelle; two half brothers, L. B. Brasher, San Antonia, Tex. and William Brasher, Stuttgart; two half sister, Mrs. Louis Nickels Jr. and Mrs. R. M. Brasier, Marie Nana

Marie Nana Brasier , age 94, of Little Rock, peacefully went to her heavenly home on April 3, 2008. She was born in Bluffton, Arkansas on January 10, 1914 to the late J.W. and Bertha Downen. Marie was a beautician for over 60 years having owned her own salon and later working for Plaza Towers for 30 years before retiring. She was born and raised in the Baptist Church and never failed to miss her Wednesday Church Service at Briarwood Nursing and Rehab Center. Marie enjoyed traveling, crochet, fishing or just going to the lake but she was most happy in the presence of her family and friends from the beauty shop. In her later years , she especially enjoyed spending time with her great grandchildren.

Marie was survived by her daughter, Betty Mabry and husband Jerry of Little Rock; grand daughters; Shawn Olsen and husband Buddy of Maumelle; Michele Meadors and her husband Mark of Little Rock, great grandchildren, Connor and Brandon Olsen and Mabry and Elizabeth Meadors.

She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Norman and Wayne Downen, and sisters Louise Cloyd, Clementine Holobaugh, Pansy Reed, Elaine Brooks, Ina Ruth Holland, and Lenora Minor.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday evening at Ruebel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday Morning at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Ruebel Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Riverwood Memorial Gardens in Maumelle.

Brasier, Roy

Roy Brasier, age 70, of California, died March 16, 1998 in Suisun, CA after a lengthy illness. He was born September 9, 1923 in Belleville, AR. He was a former resident of the Bay Area, Vacaville, Lake County and Plainview, AR. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter. He was a long-time member of the Western Houndsman Association and a life-long horse owner and fancier. In his younger years, he worked for the JeDel Arabian Ranch in Pinole, CA. He was a member of the International Machinists Union.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Janice; his brother, Hayes and his sister, Janelle Johnson.

He is survived by three sons, Ron of Michigan, Ted of Vacaville and Curt of Upland; three daughters, Vicki King of Roseville, Betty Decious and Cathy Brasier both of Fairfield; a brother, Lloyd of Clearlake; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Ann James Bratton age 94 of Dardanelle died Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at her home. She was born May 12, 1912 at Powetan, West Virginia. She was a retired Culinary Chef for the West Minister Presbyterian Church in Bluefield, West Virginia.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Thaddeus William Bratton.

Survivors include a daughter, Annette Wilkins of Dardanelle; one grandson, Thaddeus Wilkins of Dardanelle; three great-grandchildren, Monica Lee Wilkins, Michaela Ann Wilkins, and Sarina Lynn

Pearl Braudrick, age 93, of Springdale died Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Walnut grove Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born August 19, 1920 at Delaware to the late Ray and Maggie Keirsey Graves. She was a member of the Delaware First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Braudrick; two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include three children, Bobby and Ruby Braudrick of Russellville, Billy and Betty Braudrick of Westfork, AR, Dale and Janet Braudrick of Springdale, AR; one brother, Glendon Graves of Oklahoma City, OK; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the Delaware First Baptist Church with Bro. Wiley Jones officiating. Burial will be in Graves Cemetery in Delaware.
