Sides Anderson, died at the home of her only daughter, Nettie Anderson, near Belleville, Saturday, August 30th, 1947, at 12:20 p.m. She had been severely injured in December 1946 and ill since that time. Clyde Bentley Anderson, Jr. age 73 of Jessieville, AR died July 29, 2000 at the Dardanelle Nursing Center. He was born May 20, 1927 in Belleville AR son of Clyde B. Sr. and Esther (Madden) Anderson. He served in the U. S. Army and was retired from Weyerhaeuser.
He is survived by three sons, Terry B. Gary and Jerry Don Anderson all of Jessieville, AR; four daughters, Carl Boling of Dardanelle, AR, Sandy Huchingson and Sue Reyes both of Hot Springs, AR and Anita Daughtery of Ft. Worth, TX; a brother, Billy Anderson of Ola, AR; a sister, Bonnie Knight of Plainview, AR; 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Miss Effie Anderson, aged 78, died Sunday at her home at Plainview. A native of Arkansas she was a member of the Baptist Church.

Esther Meek Anderson died in the home of her daughter on January 8, 1957. She was 79 years of age and a native of Yell County.

Gary Van Anderson,I, age 48, of New Blaine, AR died Saturday, March 2, 2002 at his home in New Blaine, AR. He was born December 7, 1953 in San Jose, CA. He graduated from Arkansas Tech University and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville receiving a masters degree in Speech Pathology and taught for many years in the Lamar School District. He was a charter member of the First Baptist Church in Delaware, a member of the Elizabeth Hall Masonic Lodge 215. He was an accomplished musician being able to play a dozen different instruments. At the age of 15 he started his first band with a group of his friends.
Survivors are his wife, Deanna Underwood Anderson; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary Van II and Trisha Anderson of New Blaine, AR; three daughters and sons-in-law, Gwedelyn and Mike Lawrence of Clarksville, AR, Mary and Jeffery Brown of Scranton, AR and Kerri Anderson of New Blaine, AR; his parents, Van and Mary Evelyn Wurst Anderson of Delaware, AR; three brothers, Kirby and Daniel Anderson both of Delaware, AR and Timothy Anderson of Tracy, CA; two grandsons, My chat Austin and Malachi Aaron Lawrence both of Clarksville, AR and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Grace Louise Anderson, age 53, of Plainview, AR died Tuesday, June 2, 1998 at St. Vincent's Infirmary in Little Rock, AR. She was born in Landis, AR September 8, 1944, daughter of the late Floyd and Ola Barnes Morrison.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Larry, Haskel and Jerry Morrison and a sister, Cleo Morrison Herr.

Hazel Elise Anderson, age 67, of Rover passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017, at Arkansas Hospice River Valley in Russellville. She was born May 23, 1949, in Felton, Delaware to the late Joseph & Sarah Elizabeth Roland Farrow. She was a homemaker and mother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Henry Anderson.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Carol Anderson; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Elizabeth of Casa, AR and Alan and Sheila of Burleson, TX; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers and one sister.
He was a veteran of WWII, and served in Africa, Sicily, Italy, France and Germany. He was a building contractor, and built and remodeled many homes around Russellville, Dardanelle, and the Little Rock area. He was an elder in the Church of God.

James E (Pat) Anderson, age 83, of Hot Springs, Ark. went to be with Jesus on Sunday, September 5, 2004, at a local hospital. Pat was a wonderful father and loving husband who devoted his life to the Lord and his family. He was born on May 28, 1921, in Buckville, Ark. to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Anderson and was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings.
Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Clara Bee Blocker Anderson; three sons and daughters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Anderson of Houston, Texas, Mr. and Mrs. Doug Anderson of Rogers, Ark. and Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Anderson of Hot Springs, Ark. three granddaughters, Angela Poole of Camden, Ark. Heather Dale of Dallas, Texas and her husband, John, and Jordan Anderson of Hot Springs; four grandsons, J. P. Anderson of Hot Springs and Mitchell, Weston and Connor Anderson, all of Rogers. Pat began his career in Port Hueneme, Calif. as a longshoreman supervisor in charge of loading World War II cargo ships for Pacific Naval Airbase. Pat and Clara Bee returned home to Hot Springs where he started and ran a prominent logging and trucking business until 1974. He also served as member and president of Cutter Morning Star School District during the late sixties and early seventies. He was a charter deacon of The Old Country Church where he pastored for one year and sang bass with The Old Country Church Gospel Singers for 26 years. Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004, from 5 until 8 p. m. at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.
Services will be Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2004, at 10 a. m. at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will follow at Mountain Valley Cemetery. Pat's nephew, Reverend Gene Anderson, and his brothers-in-law, Reverend Ed Johnson and Reverend Fermon Bates, pastors of The Old Country Church, will preside over services. Mrs. Jeanie "Diane" Anderson, 43, of Talihina, Oklahoma Passed away Friday, May 14th, 2010 at Choctaw Nation Health Care Center. Diane was born in Midland, Texas on October 18, 1966, the daughterof the late Billy Bob Hollandand Nina Nadine (Blagg) Holland. She married Matthew Anderson on December 29, 1985 at the Whitesboro Baptist Church. She was a member of First Baptist Church Talihina, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her father and father-in-law.
She is survived by her husband Matt of the home, sons; Kenneth Scott and Jennifer Whitebird of Talihina, Matthew Joseph Anderson of the home, daughters; Samantha Anderson and Bethanle Anderson also of the home, grandchildren; Trevor, Aubree and Kylee, mother; Nina Holland of Talihina, brother; Danny Holland of Talihina, mother-in-law; Pam Anderson of Talihina, brothers-in-law; Brian Anderson of Talihina, Robert Anderson of Mustang, Dean and Mauricia Anderson of Poteau, nieces; Patty and Virgil Robbins of Mustang, Gina Beth and Steve Walker of Henderson, Texas, nephew; Brian and Kallie Holland of Talihina, numerous other relatives and a host of friends. Diane began her career as a licensed cosmetologist. She held her cosmetology license for 25 years. She soon obtained her LPN license in 1993 and quickly followed with her RN license in 1997. She was a devoted nurse and found her calling in helping others with the dying process. Hospice and Palliative Care nursing became her passion and was recognized in 2004 by the National Association of Hospice and Palliative Care for writing a Hospice and Palliative Care program that was specific for the Alaska Native Culture. Diane worked as an RN from Oklahoma to Alaska and back. She worked as a consultant in Case Management for the Detroit Housing Commission and the Atlanta Housing Commission. Diane loved to travel and nursing provided her a reason to live and work all across the United States. Diane loved her children and grandchildren. She served as a surrogate Mom to many kids everywhere she lived. There wasn't a child with a need that Diane didn't do what ever was needed to meet that need. She touched many lives in many ways. Many will remember her for her unique sense of humour, large heart and her awesome pie making skills! Diane was also a huge sports fanatic. She loved watching all her children compete in any athletic event. She was true to her Texas roots and made the OU / Texas game and event. She was a definite arm chair quarterback. She loved all sports and would watch anything. The Curling world lost a true fan Diane loved to cook and garden. She was happiest when she was in the kitchen with a ball game on the TV or out in the garden up to her toes in fresh dirt. We will miss her culinary skills and be forced to buy "store bought" jelly now. Diane was a wife, mother, grandmother and best friend. Our lives were blessed and enriched by her and we are better for knowing her. We love you and we will miss you . Hook Em horns honey.

Jessie Anderson, age 79, of Ola, AR died Sunday, August 8, 1999 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville, AR. She was born November 7, 1919, at Plainview, AR, a daughter of the late Olgar A. and May McCoy Bittle. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and the Ola United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, George Frank Bittle and a sister, Bobbie Joe Cowger.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Anderson; a brother, Coy Bittle of Ola and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Retha Kinsey Anderson, who was the mother of his four children. Later he married Ruby Summitt who died and a few years after Ruby's death he married Sylvia Summitt Mabry, who also preceded him in death.
He made his home in Montgomery County most of his life. He was a retired Church of God minister and a member of the Prairie Grove Church, which was the last church he was able to pastor. His first revival service was at Muddy Creek Church which is by Reed Cemetery and his last Flower service was at Muddy Creek Church, August 1995. He firmly believed in giving flowers to the living and wrote a poem on giving a Beautiful Bouquet of Love, in 85.
Survivors include four sons, Leon Anderson of Bryant, Ray Anderson of Hot Springs, Bob Anderson of Sims and Lloyd Wayne Anderson of Mt. Ida; one brother, Leo Anderson of Oregon; one sister, Lida Anderson Summitt of Mt. Ida; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services were March 30th at Lone Valley Church of God at Sims with obituary by grandson, Rev. Rickey Anderson and message by Rev. Marcus Phillips. Interment was in Lone Valley Cemetery. MOUNTAIN PINE The Rev. Joe Anderson, age 83, of Mountain Pine died Tuesday, July 2, 2002, in a local hospital. Born Jan. 13, 1919, at Buckville to Joseph C. and Margaret (Parson) Anderson, he was a U. S. Army veteran of World War n, Baptist minister for over 50 years and pastored at Mountain Valley Baptist Church for 43 years.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Anderson of Mountain Pine; two sons and one daughter-in-law, the Rev. Gene and Patsy Anderson of Mountain Pine and Larry Anderson of Hot Springs; one brother and sister-in-law, Pat and Clara Bee Anderson of Hot Springs; five grandchildren with spouses, Tony Anderson, Melissa and Jason Black, Brooke Anderson, Miranda and Greg Johnson and Jeremy Anderson; one great grandchild, Halley Johnson; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Imogene Anderson of Mountain Pine, Rosezell and Leonard Goughnour of El Paso, Texas, and Charlene and Bill Mosley of Raleigh, N. C. and one brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Nadine Chapmond of Pearcy.
The service will be 10 am Friday in Jessieville First Baptist Church with the Revs. Clarence Shell and Gene Anderson officiating. Pallbearers will be Doug Anderson, Jeremy Anderson, Jason Black, Buddy Chapmond, Charles Chapmond, Greg Johnson and Jonathan Caldwell. Honorary pallbearers are members of Pearcy Baptist Church, members of Jessieville Baptist Church, staff and patients of Hot Springs Dialysis and Tucker Lynch. John D. Anderson, age 77 of Rover, died Tuesday, May 13, 2003 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born February 8, 1926 in Rover to the late James and Sarah Gladen Anderson. He was a WWII Navy Veteran, member of Fisher-Law VFW Post 8525, Plainview Masonic Lodge 641, Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Commission, former chairman of the Yell County Republican Party an avid hunter and fisherman and a Protestant.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Anderson and a sister, Jimmie L. Brannon.
Survivors are two daughters, Jeanie Johnson of Rover and Beth Anderson of Plainview; one brother, Bob Anderson of Rover and a sister, Ella McCool of Rover; two grandchildren, Wesley Ray Ballew and Regina Beth Ballew.

DANVILLE - Mrs. Kate Delma Anderson, age 72, of Danville died Tuesday, January 8, 1985 at her home. She was a retired licensed practical nurse, and daughter of the late Vollie and Martha Ellis VanZandt.

Leo Mackenzie Anderson, age 40, of Mt. Burg, AR and Danville, AR passed away July 1, 2000 at his home in Mt. Burg, AR. He was born in Walnut Creek, CA December 30, 1959. He was raised in Durham, CT and was a graduate of Vinal Technical School in Middletown, CT. He enlisted in the Army in April of 1977, attended USATC Service School, he served as a Hercules FC Crewman in Germany for two years, and was discharged from the Army in 1980. He enlisted in the Arkansas Army National Guard in 1994 and served as a Generator Repairman, and an infantryman for the Danville Unit. In 1997 he transferred to the Arkansas Army National Guard Unit at Ft. Chaffee, AR and served as an Information System Technical Advisor in 1999. He then transferred back to the 153rd Arkansas Army National Guard Unit in Danville and served as a cook. He had been awarded the Army Service Ribbon, the Army Overseas Ribbon, the National Defense Service Medal and three each Army Achievement Medals and Army Commendation Medals. He was a self employed telephone technician.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Paul D. Anderson in June 1978.
He is survived by, his parents, Robert R. Jr. and Margaret Anderson of Danville; two brothers, Robert R. Anderson III of Russellville, AR and John J. Anderson of Tracy, CA and a sister, Anita B. Dorrell of Collinsville, IL.

Lowell Warren Anderson, 77, of Bella Vista, AR formerly of Fourche Valley, died at his home on Thanksgiving morning, 1998. He was born May 5, 1921 in Elgin, NE to Ella and Lewis Anderson. In 1940, he moved to Pasadena, CA. He served in the U. S. Army in World War All in the South Pacific on the islands of Saijan and Tinia. He worked for Jet Propulsion Lab. in Pasadena a NASA facility. He was a member of the Pasadena Masonic Lodge 272, the Holliston Methodist Church and American Legion. He was a member of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses for 35 years. In 1989 he moved to Bella Vista where he belonged to the Dug Hill Questers, and a volunteer at the Peel Masion. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9063, the Nomad Shrine Club, the Men's 9-Hole Golf Assn. and Crime Watch.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Wynona Austin; three children, Dr. Lowell Terry Anderson of New York City; Elaine Anderson Laguna Beach, CA and Gregory Anderson of Pasadena, CA. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Keith and Karin Anderson, both of New York City.
Services were at 10:00 a. m. Monday, November 30 at the Bella Vista Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of donor's choice. His ashes will be buried at Mt Zion, Briggsville, AR on Wednesday, by Cornwell Funeral Service. Michael Wayne Anderson, age 48 of Waveland, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Chambers Memorial Hospital. He was born May 4, 1962 in Riverside, CA to William Anderson and the late Mary Kaye Baker Gray. He was a retired correction officer for the State of California.
